Must See: ‘Star Wars’-Themed Christmas Lights Show (Video)
Everyone can appreciate a good Christmas lights and decorations display. It takes a lot of time and effort to put them all together, and they help greatly in getting everyone who sees them in more of a festive mood, which is nice.
But if you really want to win Christmas, it takes something truly special. Like, oh, say…a full lights show set to the best of John Williams‘ musical score for the Star Wars movies, for example. Someone did just that, and even included a couple of light beams having a lightsaber battle in the middle of the must-see display.

With the debut of Star Wars: The Force Awakens still far, far away (December 18, 2015), there are a few ways to get your Star Wars fix; however, this little holiday item may just shine the brightest of all.
This 12-inch Star Wars Yoda with LED Lightsaber Tree Topper by Kurt Adler has been tested and approved. It all started with a Geeks of Doom Holiday Gift Guide. These are not just for our readers, folks. My interest was immediately piqued when I stumbled upon this Christmas Tree Topper on Amazon. And when I added it on a whim to my Amazon wishlist, I had no idea that this little piece of Christmas magic would change my life.
I was lucky enough to receive this topper in the mail as a Christmas gift, and when I opened the box, I was stunned. There is no other way to put it (okay, I have a few more ways). This is Yoda as you have never seen him before. His beautiful, handpainted face is almost as impressive as his bright green, shining lightsaber. My living room has changed from a cute decorated room to a magical land of wonder and amusement where the Force is extremely strong (I may be exaggerating a little bit). But really, when I beheld this Yoda at the top of my Christmas tree, my jaw dropped.

Well, never fear oh ye holiday headbangers. Geeks of Doom is kind of enough to supply you with the quintessential list of seasonal must-haves for the metal mavens.

What happens if you mix an adventure worthy of Indiana Jones with the sass and sarcasm of Hellboy, and then sprinkle it with a heaping helping of holiday magic? You get the surprisingly entertaining dark comedy from Image Comics: Krampus #1 by Brian Joines.
It’s probably tough to pull off a Christmas-themed comic that actually appeals to fans who prefer a gritty story over one covered in sugarplums and dipped in chocolate, and I say this because I recall only one other (The Last Christmas by Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan) that managed it. Brian Joines, however, has stepped up to the Christmas comic challenge and has emerged victorious thanks to his delightfully wicked “hero” and his own twisted sense of humor.

Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart Sit On Santa’s Lap Together (Photo)
BFFs Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart are back at it again. The duo have a coffee book’s worth of pictures of themselves hanging out together (in fact, someone go turn all of this into a coffee book immediately), like that time they hung out with Elmo from Sesame Street. Or that time they hit Coney Island together. Or that time they hung out with Leonard Nimoy whilst hitting Coney Island together. These are but a few examples.
And so, as it is the holiday season, it only made sense for McKellen and Stewart to pay a visit to Old Saint Nick and let him know what they want for Christmas this year. You can check out the image of the duo sitting on Santa’s lap below.
