We all know reshoots are just a typical part of the blockbuster filmmaking process. Studios always have a place in the budget for them. But recent reports of reshoots have shown how problematic film production can be. And now we are getting an idea of how severe the Justice League reshoot situation is.

Although they were able to rile the crowd at SDCC this past weekend, the film was still in the middle of reshoots. Of course, none of that was addressed in Hall H, but there is word that Warner Bros. is spending quite a bit of money in order for Justice League to be as big of a success as Wonder Woman, and less of a failure as Suicide Squad. As the WB panel was quickly coming to a close, the DCEU portion welcomed Ben Affleck, Ezra Miller, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher and Jason Momoa. As a part of the Justice League, the actors play Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Aquaman, respectively. But there’s still no sight of Henry Cavill, who has played Superman for two DCEU films. A recently released poster hinted at his return when Superman’s emblem appeared as a part of the film’s tagline.

The highlight of any panel of course is the footage, and WB delivered here. A huge 4-minute sneak peek trailer for the movie was shown, and then released online for the world to see. You can find it below along with a new poster.

It wouldn’t be much of a WB panel without a presentation for their flagship franchise, the DCEU. With the screens still lit, the studio confirmed titles for Shazam, Wonder Woman 2, The Flash‘s “Flashpoint” story arc, Green Lantern Corps, The Batman, Suicide Squad 2, and The Batgirl.

Now before we start questioning where’s Aquaman, well, they started off the panel with that title.

Ready Player One

You can always expect a grand introduction when it comes to the WB panel at SDCC, and this year was no different as the curtains pulled back around the massive stage to reveal the latest films that the studio is currently working on. The studio proudly displayed a sizzle reel of all their films ranging from Lord of the Rings to Gravity to the DCEU.

With the crowd already amped up after waiting 20 plus hours to get in, WB’s panel started off with Steven Spielberg‘s new movie Ready Player One, a film we haven’t seen much of. That changed today with the release of a new trailer. Check it out below.
