Release Date: September 10, 2013

The fine folks at Shout Factory, along with Marvel Knights, have come together to bring the 6-issue comic book miniseries of Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk to life and onto your TV screen with the Marvel Knights: Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk motion comic.

When the comic book series initially came out, I picked up the first couple of issues, mostly because I wanted to see what Damon Lindelof (Lost) would bring to the table. But as with many comic book titles, a series of delays turned this into a four-year run. But now I can see what I missed, and see it come to life without having to track down the rest of the print run.

Back in June it was revealed that Justin Theroux was set to star in a pilot for a potential new HBO series from LOST co-creator and showrunner Damon Lindelof titled The Leftovers.

Based on the book of the same name from author Tom Perrotta (who also writes the adaptation along with Lindelof), the story takes place in a world after the Rapture has occurred.

Now comes word that HBO has decided to give the show a chance, ordering a full 10-episode first season.

‘Breaking Bad’: Where Do Walt’s Buried Treasure GPS Coordinates Really Lead?

Walter White (Bryan Cranston) in Breaking Bad Episode 10. Photo by Ursula Coyote/AMC

In this week’s Breaking Bad, Skylar’s meeting with Hank at the diner and subsequent confrontation with her sister Marie were definitely the most intense moments of the episode, which aired on Sunday night (see our review). The next day, AMC uploaded Skylar and Marie’s moment to YouTube as a “Talked About Scene” (which you can watch here below), but it seems like the true “talked about” scene is actually the one with Walt out in the desert and those all-important GPS coordinates: +34° 59′ 20.00″, -106° 36′ 52″.

Here come spoilers for Season 5b of Breaking Bad…

As we learned in the previous episode, Walt has made so much cash selling large quantities of crystal meth, that his wife Skylar could no longer launder it through their car wash business, so she instead has just been piling it up at a storage facility. But now that DEA Agent (and brother-in-law) Hank is on to Walt, it’s time to move the money. So, off Walt goes to bury the money in a far off spot in the desert in his home state of New Mexico. After a laborious interring of the ridiculous amounts of cash, stored in barrels, Walt gets the GPS coordinates of the location, memorizes it, then smashes the device, and before passing out from the exertion, apparently stops somewhere to purchase a lottery ticket with those exact numbers.

But where do the coordinates really lead?

D23 Expo 2013: Tomorrowland banner

Tomorrowland, Disney’s top-secret film from Brad Bird and Damon Lindelof, was previewed earlier today at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA.

Though not much of the actual film was detailed, and star George Clooney was not in attendance, the filmmakers offered a glimpse into the background of the mysterious project.

Walt Disney’s innovation, interest in scientific and technical breakthroughs, and his subsequent plans to build off of this optimism, are the basis behind Tomorrowland, which will focus on themes of discovery and the future.

Bird (director, co-writer, producer) and Lindelof (co-writer, producer) took out the “1952 box” found only some time ago. A picture of this box has circulated around the web for months, creating a viral buzz, prompting much discussion and even more questions about the project.

Justin Theroux has been cast as the lead in the pilot for The Leftovers, a potential new HBO series from LOST co-creator and showrunner Damon Lindelof.

The Leftovers is based on the book of the same name by author Tom Perrotta, and takes place in a world after the Rapture (or as it’s known in the book, the “Sudden Departure”) has happened, and things are—as you might imagine—not nearly the same as they once were.
