| ‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ Red Band Trailer: Time To Nut Up Or Shut Up, Again
Sony Pictures Entertainment has released a red band trailer for Zombieland: Double Tap. The sequel sees director Ruben Fleischer and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick returning to the franchise that first started a decade ago, with Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone all reprising their roles as one of the most dysfunctional families trying to survive the apocalypse. While they have found a new home at the White House, Little Rock (Breslin) runs away with a boy. Now it is up to Tallahassee (Harrelson), Columbus (Eisenberg), and Wichita (Stone) to go across America’s heartland to find her, while meeting other zombie apocalypse survivors and killing zombies along the way. Sony Pictures has released a new behind the scenes vignette for Zombieland: Double Tap, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2009 zombie comedy Zombieland. The sequel is once again directed by Reuben Fleischer, with original writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick joined by Dave Callaham to pen the screenplay. The video features some of the cast—which includes returning stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin joined by newcomers Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch, Luke Wilson, Thomas Middleditch, and Avan Jogia—talking about the sequel, mixed with some clips and some behind the scenes footage. | SDCC 2019: ‘Kim Convenience’s Simu Liu To Play Title Role In Marvel’s ‘Shang-Chi and The Legend Of The Ten Rings’
Marvel Studios made a huge impression in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con today, after not showing up to the Con last year. As with the years they did appear, they made a few big announcements, much the delight and excitement of those in attendance. And this year was no different. We’ve known that the studio wanted to deliver on their promise of giving more diversity to their ever-growing library, and Shang-Chi will be one of those heroes to help them accomplish that in a film titled Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

| ‘Short Term 12’s Destin Daniel Cretton To Direct Marvel’s ‘Shang-Chi’
Marvel Studios is opening the door wide open for more representation in films. Following the successes of Black Panther and Captain Marvel, the superhero studio is putting an adaptation of Shang-Chi, Marvel’s first superhero film with an Asian protagonist, into development. And now, they have found the director to helm it. New reports confirm that Short Term 12‘s Destin Daniel Cretton will be directing Shang-Chi. More on the report below.
