Sony Pictures has released a new behind the scenes vignette for Zombieland: Double Tap, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2009 zombie comedy Zombieland. The sequel is once again directed by Reuben Fleischer, with original writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick joined by Dave Callaham to pen the screenplay.
The video features some of the cast—which includes returning stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin joined by newcomers Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch, Luke Wilson, Thomas Middleditch, and Avan Jogia—talking about the sequel, mixed with some clips and some behind the scenes footage.
You can find the video, an official synopsis, and some bonus goodies below.
SYNOPSIS:
A decade after Zombieland became a hit film and a cult classic, the lead cast (Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone) have reunited with director Ruben Fleischer (Venom) and the original writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (Deadpool) for Zombieland 2: Double Tap.
In the sequel, written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and Dave Callaham, through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, these four slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.
Zombieland: Double Tap will be released in theaters exactly one month from now on October 18th. Be sure to check out the first trailer for the movie if you missed it.
