| Johnny Knoxville and Patton Oswalt Join David Gordon Green-Produced Comedy
Despite being a part of some genuinely mediocre projects, Johnny Knoxville appears to be as hot a comedic property as ever. Big Beach Films has announced that Knoxville and fellow comedian Patton Oswalt will star in a new yet-to-be-titled film from director Todd Rohal. The movie will follow the story of a “pair of battling brothers who attempt to honor their ailing father by taking a troop of boys on a last ditch camping trip that goes wildly wrong.” Maura Tierney, Patrice O’Neal, and Rob Riggle will co-star.

| Watch Now: ‘The Sitter’ Red Band Trailer
“My mom was so right. Nice guys really do eat the best pussy.”
“Not really sure how to interpret that.” The holiday season. Perfect time for spending time with the family, going for moonlit strolls on a winter evening, and battling crowds of insane consumers for that last bottle of your wife’s favorite perfume or else she’ll divorce your sorry ass. How about a hard-R comedy about babysitting that’s about as raunchy as a major studio can get these days? Don’t mind if I do. Up until a few days ago I had no idea this movie even existed to be perfectly honest with you, but 20th Century Fox has just released a trailer for The Sitter, a new comedy starring Jonah Hill and directed by David Gordon Green. You can watch the red band NSFW trailer below this article.

| Movie Review: Your Highness |
 |
Your Highness
Directed by David Gordon Green
Staring Danny McBride, James Franco, Natalie Portman
Rated R
Universal Pictures
Release date: April 8, 2011
Your Highness is the new movie from the people that brought you Pineapple Express, a movie that mixed stoner comedy with an ’80s action movie with some success. Your Highness looks to do take a stoner comedy and mix it with a Lord of the Rings-style fantasy. I was getting my hopes up before seeing Your Highness, mostly because I like Danny McBride and because I liked what I saw in the commercials. Unfortunately, it didn’t exactly live up to my expectations, which doesn’t make it a bad movie, it just means it left me a little disappointed, and I think a lot of people will feel the same way. Your Highness is the story of two brothers, Fabious (James Franco) and Thadeous (Danny McBride). Fabious is the successful brother and future king of the land. Thadeous is a screw-up who doesn’t want to do anything except spend his nights with wenches and weed. When Fabious’ fiancée Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel) is kidnapped by the evil wizard Leezar (Justin Theroux), the two brothers must go on a quest to rescue her. They are joined by Thadeous’ squire, Courtney (Rasmus Hardiker), and are later joined by Isabel (Natalie Portman), another adventurer with a grudge against Leezar. Their quest is filled with monsters, betrayal, and a little bit of drug use, before their final confrontation with the wizard.

| Red Band Trailer For Danny McBride & James Franco Adult Fantasy ‘Your Highness’ |
 |

Ladies and gentlemen, the vulgar and hilarious adult-aimed fantasy movie you’ve all been (probably) waiting for has arrived. The movie is called Your Highness, and it’s a fantasy with all the swords and magic and mythical creatures you would expect. What you might not so much expect is that the movie is directed by David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express, Eastbound & Down), and mixes a whole lot of comedy, swearing, sex, and drug use into the fantasy pot. To show off a bit of the naughty elements of the movie, a new red band trailer has been released for our enjoyment. And yes, the swearing does feel a little awkward given the setting of the movie. That said, Your Higness looks like it could be a lot of fun and a crazy new and unique spin on the fantasy genre. As always, be sure to head on over to the other side to read a synopsis and watch the new red band trailer. And obviously, this trailer is NSFW and you should approach with caution!

| David Gordon Green To Direct ‘Freaks Of The Heartland’ Adaptation David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) has been hired to direct the movie adaptation of the graphic novel Freaks of the Heartland.
Freaks of the Heartland deals with a small town where kids are becoming monsters or “freaks” of sorts and one boy’s effort to save his brother, who is one of them. The graphic novel is written by Steve Niles and illustrated by Greg Ruth. David Gordon Green will also be producing the project with Dark Horse Comics president Mike Richardson, with Niles executive producing. The comic isn’t extremely well-known, so many won’t be sure what to expect, including myself. But from the names attached to the project and from the looks of it, Freaks of the Heartland has the potential to be a very interesting movie.
