| SDCC 2013: ‘Dexter’ PanelDexter fans are nothing if not dedicated, sticking with the show through thick”¦and thin (season 6, anyone?). We’ve been through a LOT. On the crest of its last season on air, Showtime’s Dexter made its final San Diego Comic-Con appearance Thursday evening in Hall H. The panelists included series star/executive producer Michael C. Hall, and past and present co-stars Jennifer Carpenter, David Zayas, Aimee Garcia, Desmond Harrington, Yvonne Strahovski, Lauren Velez, Eric King, and Julie Benz. Also appearing were executive producers John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Scott Buck, Clyde Phillips and Manny Coto. Ralph Garman moderated. He mentioned that the complete series will be available on Blu-Ray November 5th, in a box that resembles Dexter Morgan’s blood slide collection case. This announcement was followed by a retrospective look at Dexter Morgan’s most famous kills.

IDW has bundled the miniseries into one volume that every horror comic devotee should plan to have in their collection. Alan Robert’s tight script drops the reader right in the middle of a high-tension scene thanks to his Tarantino-esque manipulation of the story’s timeline. This is a tricky thing to pull off properly, but Robert (best know for Wire Hangers) makes it seem effortless as he fills in the plot with pieces of the past to reveal the strange and possibly supernaturally-influenced connections between the characters.

| Dexter Murders His Way Into Comic Books!Writer Jeff Lindsay has teamed with artist Dalibor Talajic (Deadpool) to bring his character Dexter Morgan to the world of comic books in a 5-issue limited series. Lindsay has crafted seven novels featuring the Miami blood spatter expert that spends his free time killing other killers and general bad guys. His character has of course also found his way onto the Showtime hit TV series Dexter. Now starting with the release of issue #1 in February 2013, Dexter must stop Miami’s latest serial killer and deal with his own high school reunion!
