| Exclusive Clip From ‘Battle Of The Damned,’ The Dolph Lundgren Killer Robots Vs. Zombies Flick
Back in December, we saw a trailer for Battle of the Damned, an upcoming action flick with The Expendables, Universal Soldier, and Rocky IV star Dolph Lundgren. The movie comes from Anchor Bay, and follows a man named Gatling (Lundgren) who’s tasked with entering a quarantined city that’s been devastated by a virus that’s turned its residents into zombies and rescue a girl who’s stuck inside…all with the help of a killer robot army. | Trailer For ‘Battle Of The Damned’ Pits Dolph Lundgren and Robots Against Zombies
Dolph Lundgren’s rise back to action movie prominence, thanks in part to The Expendables series, continues with the upcoming sci-fi action-horror flick Battle of the Damned, which is being released by Anchor Bay Films. Lundgren stars as a military operative sent to rescue a young woman from a remote city that lay in ruin, and finds a host of zombies, a rag-tag group of survivors, and a batch of malfunctioning robots who may just save the day. Along with Lundgren, the film features Melanie Zanetti, Matt Doran and David Field, and is written and directed by Christopher Hatton. Oh, the glory of the ridiculous action delivered in The Expendables 2. This is vibrant popcorn-movie wonder, a kick ass explosive injection of testosterone straight to the stones, and enjoyable. | Kelsey Grammer Cast In Nicolas Cage Role For ‘The Expendables 3’
A while back, Nicolas Cage was said to be in the mix for a role in The Expendables 3, but nothing ever came of it. Instead, it’s being reported that Kelsey Grammer has joined the cast, and will be playing the role that Cage was rumored to be up for. Grammer will be playing an ex-mercenary named Bonaparte who helps the Expendables with their mission. The actor also recently signed on to play the villain in Transformers 4.
