| ‘Expendables’ Star Dolph Lundgren Joins ‘Aquaman’ Cast
The Expendables star Dolph Lundgren is the latest to join the cast of Aquaman, Warner Brothers’ upcoming solo adventure for the title character, played by Jason Momoa, following a brief cameo in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and a more prominent role in the ensemble movie, Justice League, which arrives in theaters later this year. Lundgren will play King Nereus, the ruler of the kingdom of Xebel, who claims Aquaman’s love interest Mera (played by Amber Heard) as his own and wishes Aquaman dead.

| Wait, What? ‘Kindergarten Cop 2’ With Dolph Lundgren Is Filming Right Now
Here’s a fun and totally random one to end your week on. Not only is a Kindergarten Cop 2 on the way, but the movie is being filmed right this very moment with The Expendables, Rocky IV, Universal Soldier, and Masters of the Universe star Dolph Lundgren leading the cast. This movie isn’t even listed on the actor’s IMDb page yet. Arnold Schwarzenegger starred in the 1990 original movie, which followed a cop going undercover as a kindergarten teacher to find and apprehend a drug dealer. This new movie apparently has the same basic idea, only instead of looking for a drug dealer, Lundgren’s character is seeking a missing flash drive from the Federal Witness Protection Program that somehow ended up in a kindergarten.

| ‘The Expendables 3’ Officially Gets A PG-13 Rating
It’s become sort of a tradition with Sylvester Stallone‘s epic action series The Expendables—each movie is rumored to possibly be getting a PG-13 rating, then ultimately ends up with an R when it’s all said and done. The Expendables 2 famously had Chuck Norris state that the movie would be PG-13 (because young fans shouldn’t have to hear naughty language while watching bad guys get mowed down by big f’n guns), which was confirmed by Stallone, only later to be changed to an R. As The Expendables 3 has approached, rumors of a PG-13 rating have of course made the rounds. But now comes word that the rating is no longer a rumor, but a sad fact. According to reports, the MPAA has given the teen-friendly flick the rating due to violence, including intense sustained gun battles and fight scenes, and language.

Lionsgate has released an action-packed new trailer for The Expendables 3. You can watch it here below. This preview not only gives us a gander at the large-scale action set-pieces we’ve come to expect from the franchise but also provides us with some story details. Not much though. Corny jokes and cliched dialogue are exchanged. Rinse, repeat, roll credits.
