| Ronda Rousey Set To Bounce Into ‘Road House’ Remake
Ronda Rousey, the famous mixed martial arts fighter, is quickly making a household name of herself. The news today is she has been chosen to take the place of the late Patrick Swayze in a reboot the cult hit Road House from the late ’80s. MGM is now in talks with writers to get a script put together and tentatively wants to start production in 2016. Rousey, who’s excited to show off her acting prowess, seems a natural fit for the Swayze role as a the zen-like philosopher/bouncer hired to clean up the raunchy Double Deuce bar. Her skills as an accomplished fighter will no doubt come in handy during the filming of the movie.

| Ronda Rousey To Play Herself In Autobiographical MovieOne could argue that MMA fighter Ronda Rousey is one of the greatest athletes of this generation. Her fighting techniques allows her to bring down her opponents almost in an instant. In her latest match, Rousey was able to knockout Bethe Correia in 34 seconds flat. Aside from her MMA activities, Rousey is also a film star having appeared in The Expendables 3, Furious 7, and Entourage (for which she played herself). With her stardom only just taking off, it was only a matter of time before her life story would be turned into a movie. And now with Paramount purchasing the rights to her autobiography, they have just done that. But rather than go through the audition process to find someone in her likeness, reports are saying that Ronda Rousey will play as herself in the film. More on the story below.

| ‘Furious 7’ Trailer: Vin Diesel and His Family Find Vengeance |
Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for Furious 7, the seventh entry in the highly successful Fast and Furious franchise. The trailer starts off in a really big way, and the action sequences seen are only a glimpse into what will probably be one of the most exciting films of 2015. Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, and Lucas Black all return to reprise their respective roles. They will be joined by newcomers like Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Nathalie Emmanuel, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, and John Brotherton. The trailer is also bit of a sad reminder that this is the last time we will ever see the late Paul Walker in a movie. But based on the massive marketing campaign that was launched prior to the trailer’s release, it looks like Furious 7 will honor his legacy in the Fast and Furious franchise. | ‘The Expendables 3’ Leaks Early; Downloaded Almost 200,000 Times
The theatrical release of Lionsgate’s testosterone-heavy summer action epic The Expendables 3 isn’t scheduled for another three weeks, but that hasn’t prevented the finished film from being leaked online to various torrent sites. According to Variety the leaked copy of the Patrick Hughes-directed sequel currently in circulation was taken from a DVD screener and downloaded almost 200,000 times around the world in a 24-hour period. That number is expected to increase as the official release of the film approaches.
