| Donald Glover Posts Animated ‘Deadpool’ “Finale” Script After Show’s Cancellation
Over the weekend, we learned that FX has decided to cancel their planned Deadpool animated series from Donald Glover. This came as a shock to many who had hoped to see more of the Merc with a Mouth, especially when it was coming from someone as creative as Glover, who would also be showrunner with his brother Stephen Glover. The series even got a 10 episode order, so there wasn’t anything to be worried about. While it is not exactly clear why the split happened, Glover wants to make sure that it wasn’t because he was too busy. In fact, he goes as far as mocking the whole situation by releasing pages of a fake “finale” script, which tells us that the series would have been hilarious. More on the story below.

| ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Reshoots Detail Troubled Production
Solo: A Star Wars Story has been dogged by rumors of a troubled production since Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the film’s original directors, were axed from the film due to creative differences. Then Ron Howard came in to finish the remainder of the production. Interviews with the cast and crew tried to ease some of the concerns fans about upcoming Star Wars spin-off. And the trailer has garnered mixed reactions, at best. Now there is a new report from the inside that is bringing back some very bad memories. An actor close to the production of Solo says there was plenty of drama with the directors, confirms that title star Alden Ehrenreich needed an acting coach, and how the reshoots may have helped the production but not the final cut of the film. When Lucasfilm fired directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller from Solo: A Star Wars Story, it came at a very bad time. The Star Wars spin-off was just about to be completed before the directors were given the axe due to creative reasons. Ron Howard would then step in as their replacement. But that even came with its own complications. While the “creative differences” excuse has been thrown around in situations like these, it appears there is some truth to it. | Emilia Clarke On Qi’ra’s History With Han In ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’
Han Solo’s reputation as a dashing roguish smuggler precedes him. But as Solo: A Star Wars Story will tell us, he didn’t always start out that way. In it, we will get to see the Han’s (Alden Ehrenreich) early days as a young upstart rising up the ranks of the criminal underworld. Like most thieves, they start out learning the tricks of the trade at a very young age. And most of the time, they aren’t alone. In the film Emilia Clarke‘s Qi’ra, the mysterious femme fatale of the spinoff, has a bit of history with Han. One that goes as far back as their childhood. Below, we will learn a little bit more about Qi’ra, and how she will help shape Han to become the legendary smuggler that we all know and love.
