| Kurt Russell Wishes Makers Of ‘Big Trouble In Little China’ Remake “Good Luck”
Early this summer it was announced that 20th Century Fox was intent on remaking John Carpenter‘s 1986 action-comedy-horror cult classic Big Trouble in Little China with Dwayne Johnson starring as heroic truck driver Jack Burton. Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (X-Men: First Class) are penning the script. Kurt Russell, who played Burton in the original, was asked for his thoughts on the Big Trouble remake during an interview to promote the release of his new western Bone Tomahawk (which is pretty great by the way), and you can see what he had to say below.

| ‘Moana’: Disney Introduces Young Hawaiian Newcomer Auli’i Cravalho As Voice Of Title Character
Back in August we got our very first look at Disney’s upcoming Moana. At the time the only person cast was Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who voices the male lead Maui, a demi-god who helps Moana on her journey. Now Disney has found the voice of the title character. While the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise has been a hit for Disney, they haven’t had much luck with some of their other films based on their theme park attractions (Haunted Mansion anyone?). But, it looks like Disney believes they have something good with Jungle Cruise, their upcoming film based on their Adventure Land ride. On the ride, guests board a boat cruise through an African jungle navigated by a (usually obnoxious) tour guide. A couple of weeks back, the film added some major appeal with the casting of Dwayne Johnson and the addition of Focus screenwriting duo John Requa and Glenn Ficarra. Now, Johnson has confirmed the film’s setting and tone in an all new Instagram post. Check it out here below.

| D23 Expo 2015: Disney’s ‘Moana’ Footage, Story Details
At the D23 Expo on Friday, Walt Disney Animation Studios presented the South Pacific-set Moana, which follows the title navigator as she sets sail in search of a fabled island. During her journey she teams up with the legendary demi-god Maui to traverse the open ocean on a voyage where they will encounter enormous sea creatures, breathtaking underworlds, and ancient folklore. Moana takes places 2,000 years before our time in the South Pacific. Our title hero shares a special bond with the ocean and it is that bond drives her to be a navigator, a once-proud family tradition that mysterious has gone unpracticed. She then sets out to be that wayfinder against her father’s wishes, and takes her animal friends — a pig named Pua and a cranky rooster named Hei Hei — along her journey. Then there’s the meet-up with the demi-god Maui. More on him later.
