Joker and Harley Quinn Movie In The Works Starring Jared Leto, Margot Robbie

I sure hope you like the Joker and Harley Quinn, geeks. Because a whole lot of them are incoming. We first saw the Batman villains together in Suicide Squad, played by Jared Leto and Margot Robbie. The actors will also be reprising the roles in the upcoming Suicide Squad 2 and Gotham City Sirens. On top of all of that, we just found out two days ago that a Joker origins movie separate from the established DC extended universe is being developed. That project, however, will cast someone new to play the diabolical prankster.
Now comes word of a new project in the works. The movie, which doesn’t have a title yet, will focus on the Joker and Harley Quinn characters, with Leto and Robbie due to play them here as well.

Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Jungle Cruise’ Finally Heads Off To Production

Sure Disneyland has a wealth of rides inspired by characters and films, but they also have some original ones as well. With the success of the Pirates of the Caribbean films, it was only a matter of time before another ride got the big-screen adaptation treatment. Jungle Cruise is another one of those rides. The film was originally a Tim Allen and Tom Hanks-starring vehicle, but now has turned into something with an action slant now that Dwayne Johnson is the leading star. But with his workload, it was hard to imagine Jungle Cruise would ever happen. Now there is confirmation that the film will start production in 2018. More on the story below.

Last week on This Is Us, Jack Pearson and his sons and daughter had a rough day. Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) went to see Rebecca’s (Mandy Moore) band play and jealousy creeped in, especially after Ben (Sam Trammell) revealed they used to date. He told her he didn’t want her to go on tour, and went and spent Valentine’s Day alone. Kate (Chrissy Metz) apologized to Toby (Chris Sullivan) for making him feel bad. Kevin (Justin Hartley) was freaking out about the play’s opening night. But Randall (Sterling K. Brown) had the worst day of all. Willam (Ron Cephas Jones) is worse. Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) had to go out of town. He blanked out at his really important work presentation, and has the shakes. He made a strange call to Kevin, who ran out on his play to hold a crying, rocking Randall.

‘Whiskey Tango Foxtrot’ Trailer: Tina Fey Is A Journalistic Fish Out Of Water

Paramount Pictures has released the second trailer for Glenn Ficarra and John Requa‘s Whiskey Tango Foxtrot starring Tina Fey as a war correspondent stationed in Afghanistan. Though war can be a bit of a touchy subject, there have been a few satires that have found the balance of making light of it while also bringing it to our attention an informative way. With this movie, though, the film happens is based on Kim Barker‘s wartime memoir The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The trailer does have a rather short runtime, but in all honesty, I think it does get its point across about a journalist’s life in a war-torn country. Check out the trailer below.

Dwayne Johnson Reveals Disney’s ‘Jungle Cruise’ Set In The 1920s

While the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise has been a hit for Disney, they haven’t had much luck with some of their other films based on their theme park attractions (Haunted Mansion anyone?). But, it looks like Disney believes they have something good with Jungle Cruise, their upcoming film based on their Adventure Land ride. On the ride, guests board a boat cruise through an African jungle navigated by a (usually obnoxious) tour guide. A couple of weeks back, the film added some major appeal with the casting of Dwayne Johnson and the addition of Focus screenwriting duo John Requa and Glenn Ficarra.
Now, Johnson has confirmed the film’s setting and tone in an all new Instagram post. Check it out here below.
