| ‘The Walking Dead’s Jon Bernthal Is Punisher In ‘Daredevil’ Season 2
Rumors swirled last week that The Punisher may appear in season 2 of Daredevil. This was an exciting opportunity to bring in a Marvel anti-hero that failed to see any success theatrically. But the character doesn’t come without difficulties to bring to the small screen, because the anti-hero employs murder, kidnapping, extortion, coercion, threats of violence, and torture in his war on crime. Netflix
Premiere: April 10, 2015 First off, let me say that I have been thoroughly impressed with every Netflix Original Series I have seen so far and I had high hopes for Marvel’s Daredevil when I first heard it was in production. As the first of four all-new live-action Marvel franchises, the spotlight was trained on this one when it became available on April 10, 2015. And folks, it was well worth the wait. There’s not much that is super about Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), unless you count his ability to take a beating. He’s highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, but he’s not so remarkable that he escapes injury. As a matter of fact, it’s amazing how much Murdock does get hit. It’s his sheer force of will that makes him the formidable opponent that he is in this program.
