‘The Punisher’ Season 2 Trailer: Frank Castle Is The One Who Does The Killing

The Punisher is back on the job. Back in the fight.
The Marvel Netflix shows are quickly coming to an end. After the cancellation of Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Daredevil, all that remains are The Punisher and Jessica Jones. And with Disney+ launching later this year, the likelihood of Netflix’s remaining two Marvel shows being cancelled are very high. And while we know the inevitable is coming, we can still look forward to one more season from the two.
The latest trailer for The Punisher season 2 has been released. In it, we get more of an idea of what Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) will be doing now that he has been paroled and what a disfigured Billy Russo (Ben Barnes) will be doing to get his revenge. Check out the trailer below.

‘The Punisher’ Season 2 Trailer: Frank Castle Is Not The One Who Dies

Before the end of last year, Netflix canceled Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Daredevil. It was a surprising move but one that was not entirely unexpected given that Disney would be launching their own streaming service, Disney+, at the end of 2019. So all that remains of the Marvel Netflix deal are Jessica Jones and The Punisher. The latter was a new addition to the original deal that only featured four heroes of New York City. Though he made an intro in season 2 of Daredevil, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) made quite an impression in his own series.
Now, he’s back for season 2. And this time, he’s going up against a familiar face. Ben Barnes also returns to play the series’ lead nemesis Billy Russo, whose disfigurement at the end of season 1, has transformed him into becoming Jigsaw. Netflix has released a new trailer for the season, which also announces a release date. Check out the trailer below.

‘Escape Room’ Trailer: It’s All Fun and Games Until Someone Dies

Remember Hell Fest, the all too scary take on amusement park Halloween mazes? Well, there seems to be a recurring theme here. Now they are targeting the escape room. For those who are not familiar with the concept, escape rooms are when a group of people get together to solve puzzles and answer riddles in order to escape their current imprisonment. Of course, this is the perfect conceit for a horror film.
And this gives us Escape Room, a film that takes the concept of the friendly game and turns it into a horrific nightmare. Sony Pictures has released an official trailer for the film, and you can check it out below along with a poster.

‘Daredevil’ Season 3 Trailer: Everyone Is Out To Get Daredevil

When we last left Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), his fellow Defenders believed he was buried under a pile of rubble. Little did they know that he was pulled out and being cared for. The last image of his lying on a bed being tended to by a nun was an image pulled straight from the comics. It also hinted at what to expect from Daredevil season 3.
While it has been a long wait, the time as come, and just a few weeks before its season 3 debut, Netflix has released a new trailer for Daredevil. And while the character seems fine, his greatest enemy the Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) will declare war on him. Check it out below.

Marvel’s ‘The Punisher’ Trailer: Frank Castle Has A Cold-Blooded Reason To Kill
|
 |

What first started out as four street heroes defending New York City has since expanded into something else in the Marvel TV universe. The Punisher is the latest addition to the Marvel and Netflix collaboration, and though Frank Castle aka The Punisher didn’t appear in the Defenders miniseries ensemble, he will make his presence known… one bloody victim at a time. Jon Bernthal returns to reprise the title role, which was first introduced to us during the clunky Season 2 of Daredevil. The character was arguably the best thing about that season, even though the role felt more like it was shoehorned.
That being said, The Punisher is out for revenge and to bring justice to the family he lost thanks to a shadowy government organization. It doesn’t matter who Frank Castle has to go through to get that. Even if it means hitting Homeland Security, the CIA, the FBI, and more. Check out the first full trailer for Marvel’s The Punisher here below, which puts Metallica’s “One” to good use.

Marvel and Netflix’s ‘The Punisher’ Arrives In 2017; New Cast Announced

It’s hard not to enjoy what Marvel has been offering on Netflix. Recently we’ve seen some trailers for Iron Fist, the fourth Marvel series following Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage, which arrives on the streaming platform early next year. That will be followed up by the ensemble series The Defenders, which sees all four titular standalone heroes unite to defeat a yet to be revealed villain, which is rumored to be The Hand.
While all of that is going on, Netflix and Marvel are currently working on The Punisher. At first, it was thought that the Daredevil spinoff series would be released sometime in 2018. But now, it has been confirmed that it will instead be released in 2017. Check out the full story below.
