| ‘Daredevil’ Season 3 Trailer: Everyone Is Out To Get Daredevil
When we last left Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), his fellow Defenders believed he was buried under a pile of rubble. Little did they know that he was pulled out and being cared for. The last image of his lying on a bed being tended to by a nun was an image pulled straight from the comics. It also hinted at what to expect from Daredevil season 3. While it has been a long wait, the time as come, and just a few weeks before its season 3 debut, Netflix has released a new trailer for Daredevil. And while the character seems fine, his greatest enemy the Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) will declare war on him. Check it out below.

| SDCC 2016: Marvel’s ‘Daredevil’ Confirmed For Season 3 On NetflixWell, it’s official. Season 3 of Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix is coming soon. Announced earlier today at San Diego Comic-Con and via Twitter this evening, we get a small taste of what’s to come in a newly released announcement video. The teaser video features a NYC subway sign for the 1, 2, and 3 train lines in Hell’s Kitchen, and when the lights go out for a moment, we hear the sounds of melee combat. I didn’t catch it on the first go around, but did notice on the second: the iconic DD is splattered in blood on the sign! Though we never see an combatants, there’s no doubt what’s happening. When the lights come back on, the sign for the 3 train is spotlighted before the text comes up that “Season III” will be “coming soon.” But don’t take my word for it, watch the teaser trailer here below!

| Daredevil Now ‘Risk-Averse Angel’ After Born Again ConversionIn a development so stunning it made me drop a cup of coffee on my foot this morning, Daredevil – the self-proclaimed nocturnal protector of Hell’s Kitchen (the neighborhood in New York, not the cooking show with that perpetually angry British dude) – has revealed that he has become a born again Christian and will no longer battle crime as Daredevil. “I can no longer continue my fight against the criminal element of this city while dressed as a poorly-attired minion of the dark lord Satan,” Daredevil said to the assembled press early this morning. “I am now….Risk-Averse Angel!”

| Interview: ‘Daredevil’ Season 2 Composer John Paesano |
|
Last year, Marvel’s Daredevil surprised audiences, surpassing even the highest expectations of jaded comic fans and skeptical TV critics alike. All were blown away by its realistic, nuanced approach to the superhero vigilante serial drama, bolstered by a roster of amazing performances, pitch-perfect writing, and action choreography that could stand toe-to-toe with any big budget film. Still, one of the most notable and memorable aspects of the series was something many viewers take for granted (and most TV dramas these days all but forego) “” the opening credit sequence. Written by award-winning DreamWorks Dragons and Maze Runner film composer, John Paesano, that haunting opening theme was only the first hint of what the show had in store. Pulsing, rhythmic, tonal, yet brimming with emotion, Paesano’s Daredevil score stands apart in a world filled with brassy superhero anthems. On the verge of the second season release, I had the privilege of talking with John over the phone about his return to Daredevil in season 2, his early experiences as a fledgling composer, his creative process, and geeky obsessions.
