Jurassic Park Header

Jurassic Park 4 is going to have to close its gates for some renovations, at least momentarily. Production for the sequel was expected to begin on June 24 of this year for a June 13, 2014 release, but Universal has just announced that they are pulling back on filming because the project needs more time for development.

Star Wars Saga Header

With all Star Wars news that has happened in the past few weeks, many are wondering when we will hear the final word that says, “this person will direct Star Wars: Episode VII.” It may seem like with every bit of Star Wars news that breaks we are no closer to finding out who it is, but Frank Marshall, movie producer and husband to LucasFilm’s President Kathleen Kennedy, says that the list of candidates has narrowed.

Unfortunately, producer Frank Marshall doesn’t see that happening any time soon or at all. According to him, it all ends with four.

Jurassic Park Header

Jurassic Park 4 has been a long, long, long-gestating project. It is actually surprising to see that we have gone through a movie without dinosaurs chasing humans as tasty morsels. But for those who have been waiting for so long, their patience has been rewarded. And depending on how you look at it, they have been rewarded in spades.

According to Deadline, Universal has hired Rise of the Planet of the Apes writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver to pen the long-awaited Jurassic Park sequel.
