It looks like we will be seeing the return of a globe-trotting Indiana Jones in the untitled Indiana Jones 5. With Kingdom of the Crystal Skull shot entirely in the U.S., the untitled fifth installment of the franchise will see the title character tour the globe once more. Where exactly remains unclear. | Kathleen Kennedy To Stay On As Lucasfilm President For 3 More Years
While the future of the Star Wars franchise may look uncertain because of Solo: A Star Wars Story‘s poor box office performance, the person at the helm of Lucasfilm will stay on for another three years. New reports confirm Kathleen Kennedy has just signed a three-year extension to remain president of Lucasfilm. | Jonathan Kasdan Replacing David Koepp As ‘Indiana Jones 5’ Screenwriter
Well, consider this Jonathan Kasdan continuing the family business. After co-writing the Solo: A Star Wars Story script with his father Lawrence Kasdan, Jonathan is now replacing David Koepp as the screenwriter of Indiana Jones 5. Lawrence himself wrote the first Indiana Jones adventure, Raiders of the Lost Ark, while Koepp penned Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
