The Game Awards 2017: Next Project From ‘Dark Souls’ Developer FromSoftware Teased

The next game from the developer of the Dark Souls series and Bloodborne, FromSoftware, was teased at The Game Awards 2017.
The teaser is a brief video. And when I say teaser I do very much mean it. It’s only 20-something seconds long, and shows one thing. It’s a disturbing thing, of that there is no doubt. But still, only one thing. That thing is then followed by a few words, which is of course enough to get folks speculating.

Watch Now: ‘Dark Souls 3’ Opening Cinematic
|
 |

The Souls series of video games developed by From Software are known for a few things, most notable of which being their infuriating, unforgiving, may cause baldness level of difficulty.
Another much less maddening thing the games are known for is their phenomenal opening cinematics, which get you super excited to step up and become the bad ass you were born to be…before you ultimately end up deconstructing your controller via wall a few minutes later. But it makes the sense of accomplishment when you do overcome your greatest adversaries (I’m looking at you, Havel the Rock, you ass—you’re not even a real boss!) all the more satisfying, and that feeling is addictive enough to keep ’em coming back for more and more.
Dark Souls III is set to be released soon, and to help start getting folks pumped up for the game the opening cinematic has been released online (for those who don’t mind seeing it before actually playing the game). You can watch the video below.

6-Minute Gameplay Demo For ‘Bloodborne,’ The New Game From ‘Dark Souls’ Developer

The official Gamescom 2014 gameplay demo for Bloodborne, the latest game from the makers of Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, and Dark Souls II, has found its way online. It runs about six minutes in length.
While fans of the games will notice that Bloodborne is set in an entirely different Victorian era-inspired nightmare of a location than the more fantastical (but still nightmarish) locations found in the Souls games, they will also notice just how similar the actual gameplay looks to those previous games.
You can find out more about the game and check out the gameplay demo as well as a trailer below.
