| ‘Captain Marvel’ Starts Principal Photography; Agent Coulson, Ronan The Accuser, and More To Appear
Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel will be a period piece that takes us back to the 1990s. In it, we will see Academy Award winner Brie Larson play as Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot who is endowed with cosmic alien powers and gets caught up in an intergalactic war between two alien races. But it’s not so much about the film’s plot or setting as it is who we will be seeing again. Seeing again as in, characters who we thought wouldn’t appear on screen ever again, are returning to the MCU once more. Just in a different timeline. We know that Nick Fury is in this, so it only makes sense that Clark Gregg would return to reprise his role as Agent Phil Coulson. And because the film is about the war between the Kree and the Skrull, Lee Pace will be reprising his role as Ronan. More on this and a brand new photo, below.
