Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword starring Charlie Hunnam as the legendary King Arthur. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the film centers on the title character’s rise to become the rightful king and overthrow the villainous Vortigern (Jude Law) who rules with an iron fist. A new poster has been released for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. The movie is a new take on the classic tale, which is directed by Guy Ritchie (Snatch, Sherlock Holmes) and stars Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy, Pacific Rim). It was formerly known by the title Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur. Also starring is Astrid Berges-Frisbey as Guinevere, Jude Law as Vortigern, Djimon Hounsou as Bedivere, Eric Bana as Uther Pendragon, Mikael Persbrandt as Kjartan, Annabelle Wallis as Maid Maggie, Aidan Gillen as Goosefat Bill Wilson, Kingsley Ben-Adir as Wetstick, Neil Maskell as Backlack, Katie McGrath as Elsa, and soccer star David Beckham as Blackleg Leader. | Robert Downey Jr. Says ‘Sherlock Holmes 3’ Is Still In The Pipeline
The game is afoot for the Sherlock Holmes film franchise. Shortly after Robert Downey Jr. starred as Iron Man in the titular film, the actor moved onto yet another title role in 2009 in Guy Ritchie‘s Sherlock Holmes, and then reprised the role once more in the 2011 sequel, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Though the sequel wasn’t as much of a hit as its predecessor, both films were enough of a commercial success that Warner Bros wanted more. News regarding Sherlock Holmes 3 has been slow going, but with Downey Jr. currently on the press tour for Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, journalists will undoubtedly be asking the actor not only about the film he stars in, but others as well.
