Co-written and directed by Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes), The Man from U.N.C.L.E is based on the 1964 television series created by Sam Rolfe. Starring Henry Cavill (Man of Steel), Armie Hammer (The Social Network), and Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina), U.N.C.L.E is a stylish spy comedy set against the backdrop of the early ’60s period of the Cold War.

Guy Ritchie was unable to promote The Man From U.N.C.L.E. at San Diego Comic-Con this year because he was preoccupied with filming Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur. While the latter film won’t hit theaters until next Summer, EW has released 10 new images of Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam as the title king wielding the legendary sword Excalibur.

Today’s Warner Bros. Pictures panel in Hall at San Diego Comic-Con saw new footage for two of their highly anticipated DC films — Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

But the studio also had some non-superhero properties to promote, including their upcoming big-screen adaptation of the classic television show The Man from U.N.C.L.E., which now has a new trailer.

The first trailer for Snatch and Sherlock Holmes director Guy Ritchie‘s new movie The Man from U.N.C.L.E. has been released online by Warner Brothers Pictures.

The movie is an adaptation of the hit ’60s TV series of the same name, and stars Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, The Tudors), Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger, The Social Network), Alicia Vikander (Seventh Son, A Royal Affair), Jared Harris (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows), Elizabeth Debicki (A Few Best Men, The Great Gatsby), and Hugh Grant (Notting Hill, Love Actually).
