
The epic conclusion to Christopher Nolan‘s legend of Batman comes an end in July with The Dark Knight Rises, but once that is behind him, the acclaimed director is setting his sights on some possible projects, and it could be another take on a franchise character. He also says that he will no longer pursue directing an iconic figure in history.
Empire spoke to Nolan who said that he will no longer work towards directing making a Howard Hughes film, saying that Bruce Wayne became his Hughes film. In a way Nolan’s Batman franchise is a lot like the Hughes project he was looking forward to directing. Both were wealthy and quirky characters who started out as an orphan at a very young age.
