Inhumans

Marvel Studios’ Phase Four would have introduced The Inhumans to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it seemed like it was leading up to that when the group was introduced in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show. However, any plans for The Inhumans to appear in a film or on the big screen may have been axed Marvel’s The Inhumans is now in the works as a television series.

The news was confirmed by Marvel Television, Disney/ABC TelevisionGroup, and IMAX. That’s right, IMAX is involved in this. That’s because, the “first two episodes of Marvel Television’s new series “Marvel’s The Inhumans” — produced in conjunction with ABC Studios and filmed entirely with IMAX digital cameras — will run worldwide exclusively in IMAX for two weeks at the beginning of September 2017.” The series then moves to its regular season run on ABC. Vin Diesel Inhumans ruomrs

Despite the big rumor last weekend that Inhumans was going to be cancelled because Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige didn’t want Marvel Television to dictate the rules of the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the studio president got ahead of it by confirming that the rumor was entirely false. The rumor comes fresh off a reported power struggle the studio has been going through with Feige assuming control over the film production side here in the west coast, while Marvel Entertainment CEO Ike Perlmutter oversees the east coast film production and the television division.

But for those who are still unsure that there will even be a film based on Inhumans, Vin Diesel will help ease those fears. According to the actor, there is an opportunity for him to do more things at Marvel beyond saying “I am Groot.” Check out what he had to say below.

Vin Diesel Inhumans Facebook Tease

I’m to the point where I wish Vin Diesel would just say it. I want him to just go ahead and say “I am Blackagar Boltagon!”

Esquire Magazine did a fast and furious “60 second” interview with the star of Furious 7 and Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Groot, where he reaffirmed what anyone who follows his Facebook or Instagram pages already knew: Vin is a proud geek at heart. In the process, Diesel also dropped another hint at a possible role in Marvel’s Inhumans movie, which the studio announced a November 2, 2018 release date for back in October when they unveiled their schedule for the next four years, including release dates for Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and the two-part Avengers: Infinity War.

See what he had to say below.
