Whenever one talks about the Untitled Web Series About a Space Traveler Who Can Also Travel Through Time one must always remember the question is never “where?” but “when?” So when Travis Richey dropped an Indiegogo video call-to-action on his YouTube, you know what question fell from the tip of my tongue. And when I learned that season two of said series would, in fact, be an honest to geekness movie complete with two famous doctors from long-standing science fiction TV series my question shifted from “when?!” to “GTFO!”

Every day here at Doom HQ we receive tons of tips from our readers about really cool stuff from the world of geek, as well as promotional materials for new films, comic books, collectibles, and much more. While we do our best to bring you as much of it as possible, we don’t always have enough geek manpower available to cover it all on a daily basis. But we hate the idea of all of this really cool stuff wasting away in our inbox. How could we NOT cover it? The geek-friendly NBC comedy series Community may not be returning from its fan-enraging midseason hiatus until March 15th (as reported here), but for the time being maybe some of the show’s die-hard followers (including yours truly) can take a little comfort in knowing that a small piece of the show’s intricate tapestry wants to take on a life of its own.

Inspector Spacetime, the Doctor Who-spoofing character whose cheeky sci-fi exploits are vastly enjoyed by Community characters Abed (Danny Pudi) and Troy (Donald Glover), will soon be seen in his very own web series, but don’t expect to see any cameos from certain Greendale Community College students. Travis Richey, the Inspector himself, is producing the six-episode series independently.
