| Is This Video Of A Man Hacking The Screens Of New York City’s Time Square With An iPhone Fake?
An interesting video is making its way around the ‘net, and we want to hear your opinions on its legitimacy. The video in question shows a man with a very cool trick. He’s created a little transmitter device that plugs into his iPhone, and when a second device is held near a video screen it automatically takes over the screen with the video playing on the phone. To prove this, he starts by recording a little video of himself shot by a friend in New York City’s Time Square of all places (where better to show off such a thing?) and then goes to prove it works. So has this guy created something incredible, or is the entire thing a complete joke? Be sure to click on over to the other side now and see the video for yourself!

| New ‘RoboCop’ App For iPhone and iPad MGM Studios just released a new RoboCop app for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch to help celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary (and perhaps to bring in some money from all the RoboCop fanboys with a spare buck).
Essentially, the RoboCop app is a soundboard featuring all your favorite lines from the last three films. However, since the idea of soundboard apps is a bit exhausted in this iOS handheld exhausted market, they’ve also built in some other perks to increase the coolness factor. Unlike the previous SFX-only apps, this version has video clips, a Robo-Mouth setting (which is just a Cyborg mouth you can hold up to your face when the memorable quotes are spoken), and the ability to create your own witty, monotone one-liners by speaking into the mic.

| Review: Boondock Saints Mobile Game For iOS |
 |
The Boondock Saints Mobile Game
Platform: iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch App
Developer: Boondock Saints, LLC
Price: $2.99
iTunes
The brothers McManus have come to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch in the form of a duel stick shooter game, complete with its own story that lives up to the characters from the cult film The Boondock Saints.
Let me first say that I like the idea of this game, which was probably overly ambitious given the platform. Players can choose either Connor or Murphy to charge into each level to do some mindless shooting with a range of weapons. The 14 total levels also feature gameplay by Noah and Romeo at certain points. After accomplishing each mission, you get a tattoo to show your experience. The mobile game nails most characterization of the Boondock Saints movie, but the basic mechanics make the gameplay painfully slow as well as the response time to movement. And while I chose to play this game on a handheld device, the controls may be better with the larger screen on an iPad. Still, like many of the very first arcade games in the ’80s, someone with skillful hand-eye coordination and lots of practice can definitely succeed.
