| Annapurna Drops Fox News Film Just Days Before Production Is Supposed To Start
In one of the more shocking developments, Annapurna Pictures has dropped their untitled Fox News movie just days before production was supposed to start. The film centers on the sexual harassment cover-up that went on inside the right-winged new organization and how exiting anchors like Megyn Kelly (Charlize Theron) and Gretchen Carlson (Nicole Kidman) changed the culture of sexual harassment for the better. | Attack Ads For Will Ferrell & Zach Galifianakis Political Comedy ‘The Campaign’ |
|
Since we have a hotly-contested Presidential race gearing up, there’s no better time for a comedy savagely thumbing its nose (and you think that would hurt) at American electoral politics, and The Campaign looks like a doozy. Directed by Jay Roach (Meet the Parents, the Austin Powers trilogy) from a script written by Chris Henchy (The Other Guys) and Shawn Harwell (Eastbound and Down), the upcoming film stars Will Ferrell as Cam Brady, a charismatic North Carolina Democratic congressman running for reelection against his sweet-natured but clueless Republican opponent Marty Huggins, played by Zach Galifianakis. The publicity machine at Warner Bros. is starting to slowly grind to life for The Campaign and today the studio has premiered a pair of faux political attack ads starring Ferrell and Galifianakis as well as releasing election banners and establishing Facebook pages for each of their characters. You can check them all out here below.

| ‘Austin Powers 4’ Officially On The Way; Mike Myers Signs On To Return
There’s been plenty of whispers of a new Austin Powers movie over the years, but””despite the fact that it looked like we’d be getting the movies in bulk for years to come much like the Saw and Fast and Furious franchises””they just kind of ended after 2002’s Goldmember. HitFix is reporting that Mike Myers has officially signed on to return to the role(s) for a fourth time, elevating the project from a rumor (that some wanted to see come true and others very much did not want to see come true) to a reality.

| Dustin Hoffman Makes Last-Minute Return For ‘Little Fockers’ |
|
Not many people are all that excited about Little Fockers, the third title in the series that includes Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers. Sure the movies are good lighthearted comedies you can watch with your family, and that’s likely to continue here as well, but there doesn’t seem to be much of a buzz surrounding the new installment. One of the major reasons why people have not being excited about Little Fockers seems to be because every actor was coming back except one, and that one was Dustin Hoffman. Hoffman was a new addition to the second movie, but quickly became the most popular character with his strange, free-flowing hippy persona. If a third movie was going to be made his involvement would make it a lot easier to accept, but scheduling and financial complications seemed to doom that hope. Thankfully some time has passed, and it has been revealed that thanks to some last-minute re-shoots and successful discussions, Dustin Hoffman will be filming a few scenes in the movie after all.
