RELEASE DATE: March 26, 2013 “A compass I learnt when I was surveying, it’ll… it’ll point you true north from where your standing, but it’s got no advice about the swamps, deserts and chasms that you’ll encounter along the way. If in pursuit of your destination, you plunge ahead heedless of obstacles, and achieve nothing more than to sink in a swamp, what’s the use of knowing true north?” We’re all familiar with Abraham Lincoln. We know he freed the slaves. We know his distinctive look. He’s even on our money. But how much do we really know? I for one can admit that I did not know much more than the basics, about the same as the average person would know (I fell asleep in history class a lot, what can I say), but as I’ve gotten older my interest in history has grown exponentially, and lessons via documentary or biopic and so on can be just as appealing as the latest popcorn flick. With movies, however, we’re always wondering in the back of our brain just how historically accurate the story we’re being told really is. | First Poster For Steven Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’
Sometimes there’s brilliance in simplicity, and that’s what Disney and DreamWorks seem to be aiming for with their new poster for Steven Spielberg‘s Lincoln. To make the poster even more simplistic it has no tag line and it’s black and white. It just features President Lincoln in a pensive state of mind once again, much like the first image we saw a couple of weeks back.

| First Official Look At Daniel Day-Lewis As Abraham Lincoln In Steven Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’
Up until now, we’ve seen nothing but leaked photos of Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln on (or off) the set of Steven Spielberg‘s Lincoln. The biopic would not encompass the entire life of America’s 16th president; instead it would follow the last four months of his life. Now we’ve got our first official photo of the actor as the president, minus the jeans and him eating lunch. Check it out below.

| It Has Begun! ‘LOST’ The Final Season Premiere Discussion
Last night was the very first episode in the final season of our beloved LOST. As excited as we were for the show to be back, it was also somewhat depressing because all know that this beginning means the end is now near. It’s hard to think another show will ever come near what LOST is doing, so in a way, we could be witnessing the death of truly great TV. Thankfully, this is still just the first episode and we have a good chunk left before the sadness really sets in. So before we reach that ultimate sadness we faced with Battlestar Galactica once again, shall we have ourselves a chit-chat about went down last night? As we stated in our LOST Season 5 finale discussion, there will be some spoiler action going on here, so if you’re not yet caught up — even by one episode — do not read on. For the rest of you, click over for more and to share your theories on what road this final season is heading down!
