| ‘Frozen Fever’ Trailer: Isn’t Today The Perfect Day
Disney’s Frozen is somewhat of a phenomenal hit. Grossing $1.2 billion worldwide, winning a Golden Globe, and two awards from the Academy Awards, and a few Grammys as well, there is no stopping the animated film. So for those who want to see more from Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven, Frozen Fever is the animated short that is just for you. In Frozen Fever, it is Anna’s birthday, and Elsa, Olaf Kristoff, and Sven are getting the kingdom of Arendelle together to help celebrate it. Of course, things don’t go quite as planned because Elsa managed to catch a cold. But judging by the footage in the trailer, Anna doesn’t seem to mind. | The Jimmy Kimmel School Of Perfect Acting (Video)
“My name is Jim Kimmel” [dramatic pause] “and I teach.” Jimmy Kimmel hosted a special late night edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live after the 87th Annual Academy Awards last night with this “seriously” guffaw-worthy bit called “The Kimmel School of Perfect Acting” about “the greatest acting school there ever was…or ever will be,” according to Benedict Cumberbatch. It included testimonials from Cumberbatch, Lupita Nyong’o, Mila Kunis, Harvey Weinstein, Jeff Bridges, Kristen Bell, Susan Sarandon, Jennifer Anniston, Gary Oldman, Sean Penn, Matt Damon (excuse me – Matt Damen), Emily Blunt, and more. | First Images From ‘Frozen’ Short ‘Frozen Fever’
We won’t know if Frozen is getting a sequel anytime soon, but given its massive popularity, fans will probably enjoy the new short that continues the story of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven. Frozen Fever, features the five characters in an all new adventure, which can be seen right before showings of Disney’s new live-action Cinderella, opening in theaters on March 13, 2015. | ‘Frozen’ Will “Let It Go”… To Broadway!
Frozen producer Peter Del Vecho confirmed to TV Guide in anticipation of the ABC special The Story of ‘Frozen’: Making a Disney Animated Classic airing Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 8pm ET, that the Broadway production heavily hinted (and blatantly stated at some points) earlier this year is now in development. Still in the very early stages, Del Vecho will include directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee on the project. Disney’s Frozen tells the story of Anna (Kristen Bell), who sets off to find her sister Elsa (Idina Menzel), with trusty sidekicks snowman Olaf (Josh Gad), iceman Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), and reindeer Sven. Elsa had unknowingly set off an unending winter in Arendelle, their hometown, when a fight with Anna caused her powers to flare and scared her into running away to live in isolation. Anna wants her sister back and the kingdom thawed and saved.
