After a small recap of Season 4, you get a review of Louie 5.1 “Pot Luck.” There are barely any spoilers.
Last season ended with Louie and Pamela finally being in sort of a relationship place, after that controversial scene in “Pamela Part 1.” Things moved a little more forward in “Pamela Part 2,” with Louie finally saying, “I love you” at the end of “Pamela Part 3.” Pamela’s non-answer was telling. And I thought there was hope for these crazy kids after meeting the ex-wife and exchanging kid exposure (sounds way worse than what it was).
Louie 5.1 “Pot Luck” review: Louie’s stand-up in the beginning of the episode is hysterical as usual. Topic? Aliens and life on other planets. Needless to say, it won’t be good, for many funny reasons.

Blizzard Of 2015: Louis C.K.’s Humorous Email Notifying Fans Of Canceled MSG Show

The impending Blizzard of 2015 shut down schools, subways, highways, and businesses in New York City today. But most importantly, Winter Storm Juno has shut down Louis C.K. and Madison Square Garden.
Geeks Of Doom reviewed recently reviewed the comedian’s live performance last week at the historic venue (read that review here) and reported that he was the first comedian to have three sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, with a fourth show added for Tuesday, January 27, 2015. But, alas, there will be no fourth. Around 12:30pm today, C.K. sent out an email complete with his trademark humor to his subscriber fans explaining the show’s unavoidable cancellation. The email is posted here below in its entirety, so enjoy and be sure to catch him on Late Night with David Letterman tonight!

Theater Review: Louis CK At Madison Square Garden in NYC (1/14/2014)
|
 |

Louis CK performed live at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, the second of his 4-show run at the famous venue, which was originally scheduled for just one date (January 7th), but due to demand, the comedian added more shows.
Aside from the “laugh until you have no air” hilariousness (get to that in a moment), there are two things about this that make Louis CK stand out. One, he is the first comedian ever to have three sold-out shows in the same tour at the Garden (stay tuned to see if that extends to number 4 — I’m sure it will). And two, he is absolutely dedicated to subverting scalpers and annoying extra ticket fees. For most of his tour, he sold $45 tickets to all shows directly from his website. He also put a 200-mile distance limit for purchasers. For MSG, he was able to get Ticketmaster to agree to not bump up the fees so the prices were either $65, $45, or $25. I paid $45 for the same seats that cost $180 for Queen.
