Avengers: Age of Ultron

Marvel Entertainment has released the official one sheet poster for the highly anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron coming to theaters this May.

Check out the image of the poster here below.

The poster highlights the original Avengers of course all returning to their previous roles, but also adding the two newcomers in Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver (played by Elizabeth Olson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson). What you might also notice is a kinda sorta underneath shadow shot of The Vision (played by the voice of Tony Stark’s AI counterpart JARVIS Paul Bettany). Avengers Age of Ultron Header Image

If you were to sit down to watch the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you’d probably do so in the order of their release. So, you’d start with 2008’s Iron Man and end with 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy. But the order of release for these movies don’t line up with the chronological order of events within the MCU and its TV offshoots.

So, Mike Furth from The Comic Archive took on the massive task of putting together a chronological list of events from within the 10 currently released movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, along with a few episodes from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as several Marvel one-shot shorts.

Check out Furth’s videos here below explaining his process and how you can edit your own MCU extended edition, aka “Marvel Movie Omnibus.”

The Avengers movie group photo

Marvel Studios has been hiding Easter Eggs, those hidden hat tips for knowing fans, throughout their films since Iron Man, which was the start of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There was Captain America’s shield in Iron Man, Captain America’s blue serum in The Incredible Hulk, and The Infinity Gauntlet in Odin’s trophy room in Thor, among others. But, there’s more than just foreshowing of more Marvel movies to come; there’s also been references to the actors, other Marvel mediums, and much more.

MTV has put together a 13-minute video that includes all the Easter Eggs throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Thor: The Dark World. (Guardians of the Galaxy just hit theaters today, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier is no longer in theaters and has not yet been given a home video release, so those two were not included in the video).

There are some real gems in this video, so watch it here below!
