As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand, more and new heroes will be added to the fray. And most would agree that the following would be welcomed additions to the MCU. At this year’s D23 Expo, Disney+, Disney’s upcoming exclusive streaming service, announced that the following 3 new original live-action series are being developed for the platform: Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk. | Sony Says Break-Up With Marvel Studios Over Spider-Man Is “Disappointing”
By now, you may have heard that Sony and Marvel Studios are breaking up over the financial arrangement to continue to collaborate and produce Spider-Man films. Fan reaction was swift, as many were putting the blame on Sony for not agreeing to Disney’s new terms – after all, Sony was the one who came to Marvel and Marvel was the one who helped re-establish Spidey’s cinematic reputation. However, there were those who sided with Sony, citing that Disney’s request comes off as greedy. Whatever the case, Spidey’s presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe may be coming to an end. As we wait to hear more about the fallout between the two, Sony is attempting to come out of this ahead by placing the blame on Disney and calling the break-up “disappointing.” More on the report below.

| ‘Captain Marvel’ Star Gemma Chan In Talks For ‘The Eternals’
No one really dies in comic books. That saying can be extended to comic book movies like the ones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where characters who died in various movies across different time periods reappear in some form or another in later movies. Usually, this requires the actor to come back to reprise their respective role, with an exception to Hugo Weaving who did not come back to play Red Skull in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. But what if an actor came back to the MCU, but for a different role entirely? Well, that could be the case according to a new report that says Captain Marvel star Gemma Chan is in talks for a role in The Eternals. More on the report below.

When Marvel releases one of their installments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s fun to take a look at what nods the filmmakers have made to the comic book source material. This is one of those moments in filmmaking where we have to accept the way things are and just move on. Characters being recast in reboots is one of those things that just happens. But when news broke that two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali will be playing the title role in a new Blade movie, the reaction was mixed. While some have praised the casting, others aren’t so fond of it and consider Wesley Snipes to be their Blade.
