| King Kong Vs. Godzilla Set Up As ‘Kong: Skull Island’ Moves To WB
Two legendary beasts are about to fight for the title of King of Monsters once more. King Kong and Godzilla are set to appear in an untitled mega monster showdown over at Warner Bros. According to a new report, Kong: Skull Island will now be moving from Universal Pictures over to WB, so that the production house can have a shared monster universe under one nice studio. With Legendary already owning the rights to Godzilla, the move makes plenty of sense, but it doesn’t make it any less surprising since Universal is losing yet another major property so that their competition can create a shared universe. | Minority Report – 10-Seconds of Hype |
 |

Coming in September to FOX is the new sci-fi original series Minority Report. Based on the Steven Spielberg’s 2002 movie of the same name, the series takes place 10-years after those events. One of the most underrated films in the legendary director’s resume, the film tells the story of Pre-Crime, a police unit that can prevent murders before they happen, through the use of three special pre-cogs (siblings who can see the future). The film starred Tom Cruise, Colin Farrell, and Samantha Morton. When the system crumbled because of conspiracy and, well, murder; pre-crime was abandoned and the pre-cogs set free. And so we pick up with the new series. A now grown Dash (Stark Sands) copes with being able to see murders in a future where pre-crime is no longer legal. Circumstances bring him together with Det. Lara Vega (Meagan Good), who wants to use his abilities to set up pre-crime on the down-low. Now FOX has released a series of YouTube videos called “Tease in Ten,” where four cast members including Sands, Good, Wilmer Valderrama (That 70’s Show), and Laura Regan, all provide ten seconds of thoughts on their new series. Watch the clips below.

In fact, Hawkins has already been building himself to be a major star even before he landed the role of Dr. Dre by signing on for Universal and Legendary Pictures’ Kong: Skull Island. As the film prepares to shoot for a fall start date, there are new reports confirming that he will be joined by his fellow Straight Outta Compton co-star Mitchell. More on the story below.

It is only a matter of weeks before Legendary’s King Kong-prequel Skull Island, starring Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson, starts to film, but not before a final script is turned in. According to a new report, Jurassic World co-writer Derek Connolly has been tapped to polish the script. More on the story below.
