| SDCC 2015: ‘Minority Report’ Panel & Fan Reactions
In 2002, acclaimed director Steven Spielberg directed Minority Report. The sci-fi actioner was set in the near future, where all murder was basically eradicated thanks to the pre-cogs, three siblings capable of seeing the murders before they took place. The film starred Tom Cruise, Max Von Sydow, Colin Farrell, and an amazing Samantha Morton, and is one of Spielberg’s most underrated films. In September, FOX is bringing the futuristic world of Minority Report to the small screen, and right on time for a panel at San Diego Comic-Con. The show takes place after the conclusion of the film, and the pre-crime division is shut down. It focuses on the now free pre-cog Dash (Stark Sands) who is discovered by cop Lara (Meagan Good). She tries to secretly and illegally use his pre-cog abilities to solve murders CHeck out the panel, the fan reactions, and trailer videos below.

| First Trailer For ‘Minority Report’ TV Show At FOX |
 |

Steven Spielberg is probably the greatest cinematic director of the last 40 years, a two-time Oscar winner for Best Director, and creator of some of most memorable films in history including JAWS, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, and E.T. So it’s understandable and almost excusable when one of his best films lived in relative anonymity for years… until now. The film is 2002’s Minority Report. Tom Cruise starred as Detective John Anderton of the futuristic pre-crime division. Using three “pre-cogs” (children born with the ability to see murders before they take place) they have virtually wiped out violent crime. Of course that’s until a conspiracy unfolds to frame Anderton and leads to the end of pre-crime. The film, based on a story by sci-fi genius Philip K. Dick (did he write EVERY sci-fi story!?!?) is action packed and features amazing special effects but also is poignant and asks serious questions. The acting is also great — it’s Cruise at his best — and featured an Oscar-worthy supporting performance from Samantha Morton. Now, executive producer/writer Max Borenstein and director Mark Mylod are bringing Minority Report as a series to Fox and hopefully re-igniting interest in the under-appreciated classic film. Check out the first trailer and inside look video here below.

“By the hymen of Olivia Newton-John!” 2004’s Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is, without question, one of the funniest comedies of all time. If it were a hiney, it would be absolutely breathtaking. With absurd, quote-worthy dialogue and hyper-masculine, mustachioed man-children, Adam Mckay and Will Ferrell‘s 2004 film is a cult classic. In Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, the Dynamic Duo of Dick Jokesâ„¢ have made a sequel so batshit crazy, so marvelously idiotic, that comparisons to the first film are nigh impossible. This exercise in insanity feels more like a B-side to Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie, that bizarro bonus movie assembled from Anchorman‘s abandoned subplots and alternate takes. To put it bluntly, this movie is fucking nuts.

| Great Odin’s Raven! Harrison Ford Joins ‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues’ |

The cast for Anchorman: The Legend Continues – or Anchorman 2 if you prefer numbered sequel titles instead of surnames – just keeps getting better and crazier. Original stars Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, David Koechner, and Christina Applegate have all long been confirmed to reprise their roles as the Channel 4 News Team with original director Adam McKay once again calling the shots and writing the script. The cast has also recently added names like John C. Reilly, Kristen Wiig, James Mardsen, Meagan Good, and Dylan Baker, most of whom’s roles have yet to be revealed. And now the biggest Anchorman 2-related casting news has dropped as it was announced today that none other than Harrison Ford has signed on to co-star in the eagerly-anticipated comedy sequel. Ford would be playing the role of a legendary newscaster in the mold of Tom Brokaw who is admired by Ferrell’s clueless but charismatic anchorman Ron Burgundy. The silver screen icon best known for playing larger-than-life action heroes like Han Solo in Star Wars and the title character in the Indiana Jones film series also played a newscaster in the 2010 romantic comedy Morning Glory.
