| More ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Movie Photos Show Us Past and Present
Yesterday, we were offered our first official look at Assassin’s Creed, 20th Century Fox’s big screen adaptation of the popular video game of the same name starring Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch. It has been confirmed that the film adaptation would take place in the same universe as the video game, but will be a separate story. Fassbender reunites with his Macbeth director, Justin Kurzel, as well as Macbeth co-star Marion Cotillard. Since the film is based on the same premise as the video game the film is based on, we will definitely be seeing Lynch as a descendant of a long line of Assassins. | ‘The Gambler’ Red Band Trailer: Mark Wahlberg and John Goodman Exchange Four-Letter Expletives
Those who have been waiting for a great trailer to talk about, your wait ends here. Paramount Pictures has just debuted the teaser trailer for Rupert Wyatt‘s The Gambler, starring Mark Wahlberg as a literature professor who moonlights as a high-rolling gambler. The film is actually a remake of the 1974 drama of the same name. Now we’ve all seen remakes and films about gambling before, but this teaser really sets the bar pretty high with limited footage and choice words. And because we see so very little of the film in this trailer, which runs under two minutes, we get more compelling drama and more reasons to watch the trailer over and over again. But beware, the trailer doesn’t hold back on a certain four-letter word, so I suggest you put some headphones on or wait until you find some privacy to see it. Hit the jump to check it out.
