| New ‘Despicable Me 3’ Trailer Released
Illumination Entertainment has released a new trailer for Despicable Me 3, which is set to be released in theaters this summer. The animated trilogy-maker once again follows Gru (Steve Carell), his family, and his Minions. This time around Gru has to deal with Balthazar Bratt (voiced by South Park co-creator Trey Parker), who uses the character he played as a child star in the ’80s as his villainous persona, while also considering a return to villainy himself after meeting his long-lost twin brother Dru. | ‘Despicable Me 3’ Trailer: It’s Gru Vs 80s Throwback Villain
Illumination Entertainment is a fine animation studio, but despite their well-convinced stories, the execution comes nowhere near the level of Disney or Pixar. If you had to ask what their flagship film would be, it would most probably be the Despicable Me films. Despicable Me took the studio to where it is now, and Universal has released the first trailer for Despicable Me 3, starring Steve Carrell, Kristen Wiig, and Trey Parker. | ‘Despicable Me 2’ Trailer: Gru Is Back, Tell A FriendThe one thing that Despicable Me 2 has going for it, aside from Agnes, that one kid known for screeching “it’s so fluffy,” are those tiny yellow minions that are constantly causing mayhem and by the side of Gru (voiced by Steve Carell). The first trailer wasn’t too heavy on the details, which is fine by all means since it was a teaser trailer, as was the second trailer. | ‘Despicable Me 2’ Trailer: Whatever You Do, Don’t Look UpA lot of what makes Despicable Me so adorable are those lovable mischievous yellow minions that go around assisting Gru (Steve Carell). The first trailer for Despicable Me 2 featured only three minions singing their off-key rendition of “Barbara Ann.” But it didn’t tell us anything about the sequel at all. Now a new holiday-appropriate trailer has hit the web and it seems to tell us that the sequel will be focused on them. Check it out after the jump.
