| ‘Despicable Me 3’: ‘South Park’ Co-Creator Trey Parker To Voice Villain
In addition to the announcement that Sherlock and The Hobbit star Benedict Cumberbatch would be voicing the Grinch in a new animated take on How the Grinch Stole Christmas from the makers of Minions and the upcoming Secret Life of Pets, Illumination Entertainment also covered the trilogy-maker in the franchise that put them on the map, Despicable Me, during their CinemaCon presentation. Despicable Me 3 is scheduled to be released on June 30, 2017, just a handful of months before the release of the above mentioned new take on The Grinch. But it’s a very interesting casting announcement that’s grabbing the headlines. Trey Parker, who co-created South Park with Matt Stone and provides the voices for many of the hit animated show’s characters such as Eric Cartman and Stan Marsh, is set to voice the third installment’s villain.

| The ‘Despicable Me 2’ Minions Invade New York City (Video)The Minions from Despicable Me invaded New York City on November 25, 2013, touring some popular Big Apple sites, like Times Square, FAO Schwarz, Magnolia Bakery, and many more. The cute yellow characters were in town in celebration of the DVD and Blu-ray release of their latest film, Despicable Me 2, coming on December 10, 2013, and the digital launch of the movie, which is available to watch online right now. | ‘Despicable Me 2’ Trailer: Gru Is Back, Tell A FriendThe one thing that Despicable Me 2 has going for it, aside from Agnes, that one kid known for screeching “it’s so fluffy,” are those tiny yellow minions that are constantly causing mayhem and by the side of Gru (voiced by Steve Carell). The first trailer wasn’t too heavy on the details, which is fine by all means since it was a teaser trailer, as was the second trailer. | ‘Despicable Me 2’ Trailer: Whatever You Do, Don’t Look UpA lot of what makes Despicable Me so adorable are those lovable mischievous yellow minions that go around assisting Gru (Steve Carell). The first trailer for Despicable Me 2 featured only three minions singing their off-key rendition of “Barbara Ann.” But it didn’t tell us anything about the sequel at all. Now a new holiday-appropriate trailer has hit the web and it seems to tell us that the sequel will be focused on them. Check it out after the jump.
