‘Spectre’ Teaser Trailer: James Bond 007 Returns, and This Time He Has Secrets
The first trailer for the latest James Bond adventure, Spectre, has premiered this evening. You can watch it here below.
After doing a bang-up job directing Skyfall, Oscar-winner Sam Mendes is back behind the camera for Daniel Craig‘s fourth go-around as Ian Fleming‘s iconic, globe-trotting British superspy. Spectre‘s inaugural teaser is light on action and heavy on mood and mystery, literally keeping Christoph Waltz‘s secret villain in the shadows. We get some hints at Bond’s past, including a callback to the final battle in Skyfall, and the surprise appearance of Jesper Christensen as Mr. White, the enigmatic puppet master who appeared briefly in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, indicates that we might see some loose ends from those earlier films finally get tied up.

‘Spectre’ Teaser Poster: James Bond Respects The Turtleneck
The first teaser poster for the new James Bond film, Spectre, debuted on Twitter today. It pretty much lives up to the whole idea of teasers by not showing us much of anything. But in the poster we clearly see that Bond has ditched the traditional suit for a turtleneck while brandishing a Walther PPK — I know there is a Archer joke in this poster somewhere.

While the pictures were not stills from the movie, they did provide the first real look at the 24th James Bond film and penultimate installment with Daniel Craig as Bond.
Now, Sony Pictures has released a behind-the-scenes first look at footage from the upcoming James Bond film shot at the Sölden set. Watch the 2-minute video here below and check out the first image from the film as well, along with the official synopsis.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice
Directed by Jon Turteltaub
Starring Jay Baruchel, Nicolas Cage, Alfred Molina, Teresa Palmer, Toby Kebbell
Release date: July 14, 2010
I’ll save you the suspense. Despite the fact that I don’t find it a particularly good movie, I liked The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Don’t mistake that for indecision. I think people’s ability to compartmentalize their taste in movies has a direct impact on their enjoyment of movies as entertainment. Saying a movie is bad isn’t the same as saying you didn’t like it. For as evolved as a lot of our taste in movies have become, there are still those inexplicable few that slip through that we like despite every inclination not to. I grew up watching some terrible movies and liked quite a lot of them. Some I still do. I know they are bad, but there is more that goes into liking a movie than knowing it was well made. Nostalgia, perspective, fandom, all of these things can also shape our experience outside of the quality of the film itself. We just like what we like and sometimes there is just no explanation for having a good time watching a movie. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is that experience for me.
