Until Dawn Hayden Panettiere

A while back a game was revealed titled Until Dawn that was going to utilize Sony’s motion gaming system, PlayStation Move, then disappeared. At Gamescom 2014 it resurfaced, now as a PS4 title instead of a PS Move title.

The game is basically your every day generic horror movie: a bunch of teens are staying at a cabin in the woods, and there’s a crazy killer on the loose. You know the story. The hook is, you get to control this one, and the choices that you make determine who lives and who dies.

You can read more about the game and check out a trailer below.

During the now-closed E3 2010 video game convention, both Microsoft and Sony showed off their motion-based gaming systems, primed and ready to try and compete with the Nintendo Wii.

Sony brought to the table their PlayStation Move, some impressive demonstrations of games it will be compatible with, and even a rundown of prices for each of the bundles that will be available. The curious thing about Microsoft is that they seemed to be keeping the price tag their own special secret.

Now the word is out: Amazon is now accepting pre-orders for the Microsoft Kinect system, and it will run you a not-so-cool $149.99.

At this time last year, it looked like both Sony and Microsoft had decent motion gaming systems on the way, but the memorable “Milo” demonstration using Natal had me personally thinking that Xbox would be standing the tallest soon. With everyone now having showed off their wares this year, those thoughts may have changed.

Swing your wand this way and that to transport yourself on over to the other side for much more from the Sony press conference.
