| ‘The Predator’ Coming To Digital, Blu-ray, 4K, and DVD Soon (Video)
Earlier this year we found out about the original Predator and a three-movie Predator collection getting a 4K Ultra HD release. This was a little before the release of The Predator, the fourth and latest movie in the franchise. Now The Predator is getting ready to makes its way to home video. The movie is coming to digital next week, followed by a release on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD next month. In addition to that, a four-movie collection has also been announced for those who didn’t buy that three-movie collection. | Original ‘Predator’ and ‘Predator’ 3-Movie Collection Coming To 4K Ultra HD Soon
It was announced recently that the sci-fi action classic Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger is making its way to 4K Ultra HD soon. In addition to that it was announced that a Predator 3-Movie Collection, which includes the original plus Predator 2 and 2010’s Predators, is also coming to 4K soon. | Shane Black and Fred Dekker Rebooting ‘Predator’ For Fox
As ’80s and early ’90s action movie franchises continue to get the reboot and remake treatment, it was only a matter of time before Predator was seen as a financial opportunity to take advantage of, and today that news is officially set in stone thanks to 20th Century Fox. Word is coming out that Predator is indeed getting “rebooted”, though there is no word as to exactly what that truly means, and talent has already been attached to the film. Shane Black, who wrote and directed Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Iron Man 3, will be taking on directorial responsibilities for the movie. He will also provide the basic treatment for the movie. Fred Dekkar, known chiefly for directing Night of the Creeps and The Monster Squad, will provide the screenplay.

| SDCC 2013: Fox Teases Surprise Comic-Con Panel; Could It Be New ‘Predator’ Movie?
Fox recently announced that they’re bringing The Wolverine, along with star Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold, and their Rise of the Planet of the Apes sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, along with stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, and director Matt Reeves to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, which kicks off later this week. But that’s not all they’re bringing. The studio also revealed that they would be bringing a surprise panel to the convention this year, and that it will be “something major.” But what could it be? There’s many possibilities, but a new image has been released that could indicate it’s a new movie in the Predator franchise. See the image and speculate away below now!
