As you can see from the image below, you can get a hint of what Jeff Lemire, Brian Azzarello, Dan Jurgens, and Keith Giffen have planned for their universe spanning tale, including big parts for Batman Beyond and Grifter. Also, is that Tim Drake in his original costume in the upper left hand corner, hanging out with Booster Gold?

Catholic Church Demands Rights To ‘Caped Crusaders’ From DC Comics

Earlier this week, sources in Vatican City revealed that the Catholic Church has long been unhappy with DC Comics’ use of the term “Caped Crusaders” to describe comic book heroes Batman and Robin. The contention is apparently based on actual historical figures that were the original caped crusaders, the Knights Templar.
The Catholic Church, which boasts an estimated 1.2 billion followers, has decided to produce documents from the period of the Crusades that contain period art showing the Knights with their capes and cloaks. Additionally, tapestries and other art pieces have long been known to exist, but nothing was ever done about it. Their argument states that if anyone has the right to be known as such, it should be the warriors who risked life and limb to protect travelers.

Top 5 Sidekicks Who Could Be Heroes

When I hear the word “sidekick,” the first one my mind immediately imagines is the ludicrously dressed, teenage companion of Batman. That’s right, Dick Grayson, the original Robin. And I’m sure you all initially think the same thing. But some sidekicks move way beyond their roles as mere comrades or wingmen; some sidekicks have the potential to become leaders themselves.
Check out the list below of the Top 5 Sidekicks Who Could be Heroes.

Watch Now: Playing Video Games Makes Batman Angry In ‘The Dark Knight Rages’
|
 |

Batman is one of the greatest superheroes the world has ever known. He’s a brilliant detective and a master at kicking ass and looking awesome while doing it all. He has encountered a rogues gallery of freaks, monsters, psychos, and other devious criminal minds who would make Hannibal Lecter soil his britches. But for some reason he just can’t seem to get a handle on playing video games. In fact, they tend to make him irrationally angry, as you’ll see in this clever short video The Dark Knight Rages put together by the little comedic geniuses at Crave Online.
You can watch the video here below.
If you’ve ever wanted to see Batman and his youthful ward in crimefighting Robin attempt to bond over a hearty round of Xbox 360 that degenerates into an all-out brutal smackdown with Robin wondering out loud why his suit has nipples, then you have come to the right place. This vid features a lot of references to Batman movies and TV shows past and present, but come on Bats, that whole “my parents are dead” bit will only excuse so much in life.

‘Batman Dies At Dawn’ Preview Pages Look Amazing

DC Comics posted a few preview pages on their official site of the upcoming The All New Batman: The Brave and The Bold #13. And it looks like it could be the greatest comic of the year.
You see folks, I’m a bit of Batman fan. And as a fan of The Bat, I don’t just have a love for what some consider to be the sole protector of Gotham City. Of course I don’t, I love all of Bat family. Huntress, Batwoman, Nightwing, Batgirl, all of the them. And the most obvious member of the Bat Clan is Robin, but what a lot of non-comic obsessed folks might not know is that there has been more than one Robin. In fact, there have been several. And with the release of The All New Batman: The Brave and The Bold #13 brings all of the Robins from the past, present, and future to one comic. And that is the greatest thing.

TV Review: Young Justice

Young Justice
Featuring the voices of Jessie McCartney, Danica McKellar, and Nolan North
Cartoon Network
Monday Nights
Premiere Date: January 7, 2011
I think 2011 is probably the perfect time to be a comics fan. From blockbuster movies, direct-to-DVD movies, and even TV shows, people everywhere can’t seem to get enough of the superhero genre. So it should be no surprise then that along with the movie or TV show, there has to be a superhero cartoon out there. Marvel has already kicked off the new wave of cartoons with the Avengers and the soon to debut Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. DC, not wanting to be left out in the cold, plans to bring to the table Green Lantern later in the year and just recently out their newest series, Young Justice, to the Cartoon Network.
Young Justice follows the escapades of some of the sidekicks in the DC Universe. Comprised of Robin, Kid Flash, Superboy, Aqualad, and Miss Martian, the groups struggles with working together as team, living up to the expectations, and just dealing with teenage hormones. Teen Titans they are definitely not.

Rumors For Your Thought: Will We See The Riddler & Arkham Asylum In ‘The Dark Knight’ Sequel?
|
 |

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, now that it has been confirmed that The Dark Knight scribes Jonathan Nolan and David Goyer are working on a script that will eventually turn into Batman 3, the rumors will begin flowing like the booze of a father mercilessly dragged to a Jonas Brothers concert by his daughters.
While rumors are usually B.S. created simply in hopes of stealing attention and hits to ones website location, sometime they come from an actual source, and these are the rumors that come with just a little chance of actually being true as night time blackness. In the case of this particular rumor, everything sounds like it would make sense and nothing is absurd and over-the-top. This information is actually a couple of weeks old, as well, but since its first running, some positive updates have come around and supported the claims, leading myself to think there could actually be some truth going on here.
Click on over to find out what might be going on when Batman 3 reaches our eyes.
