| Cyber Monday 2013 Deals: DVD and Blu-ray Edition |
Every day, Amazon offers up Lightning Deals, limited quantities of various products for a discounted price for a 4-hour window of time. You have to be on the lookout for these deals and once the item runs out, the sale is over. Meaning, if you see something on sale that you want, buy it immediately before it’s gone. Typically you don’t know what will be on sale until the minute it gets posted, but for Cyber Monday week, Amazon has released the Lightning Deal schedule and prices for Movies & TV on DVD and Blu-ray for Monday, December 2, 2013. See here below for a few highlights from Cyber Monday deals, like Skyfall, Christmas Vacation, Rambo, Rome, The Tudors, and more, along with more information on how these special deals work, and be sure to keep an eye out on the main DVD/Blu-ray Lightning Deals page for sale launch times and countdowns, as the first of the deals begin at 12:20 am PT (3:20 am ET) with new items going up for sale through the very end of the day.

| Kevin McKidd Says ‘Rome’ Movie Is Still Being Shopped |

Since Rome was canceled WAY too soon, not much has been spoken of it; but within the past year or so, Ray Stevenson began speaking of a possible movie that producer Bruno Heller wanted to make that would be based on the show. The very thought of this is immensely exciting for fans like myself who thirst for more of this merciless, graphic, semi-historically accurate series, but the situation would also be a tricky one as Rome was one of the most expensive shows ever made (the reason why HBO killed it so quickly), and most of its sets were destroyed (supposedly). Another tricky aspect would be the content — as I’ve said before: the content on HBO included countless things that you would NEVER see in a theatrical production, so it would be difficult indeed.
