| 13 Comic Book Objects That Belong In Warehouse 13 |
 |
Sci Fi Channel’s Warehouse 13 premieres on Tuesday July 7th at 9/8c. Starring CCH Pounder (The Shield), Eddie Mclintock (Bones), Joanne Kelly (Vanished) and Saul Rubinek (Eureka), the show follows a group of government agents assigned to retrieve strange supernatural objects for the U.S. Government. Once obtained, they are housed and safeguarded in a super-secret facility known only as Warehouse 13. According to the Sci Fi Channel, the show is a cross between the X-Files and Moonlighting, two very awesome shows in their own right.
In celebration of this super show, we came up with the Top 13 coolest objects from the comic-verse that would fit perfectly on the vast shelves in Warehouse 13. Get it? Because there’s 13 items and the Warehouse is numbered 13… and it is… uhh… funny… ha..umm..hah….moving along”¦ The Ten Rings of the Mandarin – The Mandarin is a badass for oh so many reasons. He is Asian, knows all sorts of martial arts (which means he can kill you with his finger), has rockin’ facial hair, and above all else, he has some seriously dangerous bling on his hands. Once used to fuel an alien starship, The Mandarin’s ten rings do some serious damage. From firing ice beams to literally rearranging matter, these colorful rings are too powerful to be belong to one individual and definitely need to stay in Warehouse 13, if only to protect everyone from its awesome power.

| Watch ‘Moonlight’ On SCI FI Friday Nights I just found out that the vampire drama Moonlight is now running on the SCI FI Channel on Friday nights at 9PM ET/PT (8PM C) right before Battlestar Galactica.
The series ran on CBS before it was prematurely canceled and, as I discovered at last year’s New York Comic-Con, had — and continues to have — a rabid fanbase. While I don’t know anything about whether the series will continue, I did see that SCI FI will run all 16 previously aired episodes. Jason Dohring, who played Logan on Veronica Mars, stars as Josef Kostan, a 400-year-old vampire who is the friend and mentor to fellow vamp and private eye Mick St. John (Alex O’Loughlin). The complete series was released this week on DVD and I had been thinking of picking it up, since the preview I saw at NYCC made me really want to check out the show. So now I’ll get to check it out on the SCI FI Channel and if I love it, I’ll get the DVD.

The new Season 4 episode of Battlestar Galactica that aired last night — and that I missed because 1) I was flying into Orlando and 2) even though I raced to my hotel with 1 minute to spare before the episode started, it turns out my hotel does not have the SCI FI Channel, drats! — is now online legally and for free for those of us in the United States. Watch the Episode 4.13, “Sometimes A Great Notion,” right here below! I’ve had to avoid spoilers since 11pm last night, because from what I understand, the fifth Cylon is finally revealed. I frakking hope so, because we’ve been in suspense for just too damn long.

| Video: Sneak Peek At ‘BSG’ Prequel ‘Caprica’ A brand new video for the SCI FI channel’s upcoming Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica has been released and it is interesting, to say the least.
The clip basically shows Daniel Graystone (Eric Stoltz) being lead through a club and getting a little information out of a young girl. The club seems to be the type where all sexual inhibitions are left at the door, unless you’re there to brawl, which is always welcomed as well. For those who don’t know, Caprica will be set 50 years before the Galactica that we all know. It tells the story of two families, the Adamas and the Graystones, who are at conflict with one another over the discovery of what eventually becomes the Cylons. The Adamas are lead by Joseph Adama (Esai Morales) — father of BSG‘s Admiral Bill Adama — and the Graystones by Stoltz’s Daniel. You can only imagine which family may have helped set the Cylons on their merry way.
