Honest Trailer Back To The Future

When Tuesday came and went without a new Honest Trailer from Screen Junkies, I didn’t think too much of it. Now it all makes sense. Back in 1989, Back to the Future Part II sent Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) to the future”¦ October 21, 2015 to be precise. By the time you read this article, that date, the actual date will be the past. 26 years after hoverboards, flying Deloreans, and Grays Sports Almanac became parts of the lexicon of American cinema, we finally get the Back to the Future trilogy Honest Trailer!

Honest Trailer Jurassic World

One of the highlights of NYCC for me was sitting in the Screen Junkies panel Friday afternoon, and getting a sneak peak at the latest Honest Trailer from Hal Rudnick and the Movie Fights crew. The movie, one of the biggest blockbusters of all time, and a movie that has divided fans since it debuted over the summer; Jurassic World. Or as narrator Jon Bailey calls it, “the best Jurassic Park sequel ever made, which really isn’t saying much.” This is one of the best HT’s they’ve done so far.

Check out the Honest Trailer below!

NYCC 2015 Screen Junkies panel

Screen Junkies has over 4.7 million subscribers on YouTube and they’re… just like us: regular guys who love movies, and love even more to sit around talking about them, complaining and mocking them as well. I had the opportunity watch their panel appearance at New York Comic-Con on Friday.

The biggest view-getters from their channel is the Honest Trailers feature, which debut on Tuesdays, and Movie Fights on Fridays. Honest Trailers consists of hilarious 4-6 minute videos where they mock the ins and outs of popular movies with phony trailers that may tell too much truth. Movie Fights features arguments based on random film questions like Indy/Han, DC/Marvel, etc.

Honest Trailer Aladdin

Screen Junkies are hitting Disney hard on Honest Trailers – three straight weeks now! First it was 1953’s animated Peter Pan, then Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, and now their 1992 classic Aladdin to prep for its 25th anniversary Diamond Edition Blu-Ray/DVD release on 10/13. Aw man, I’m already thinking about how much I miss Robin Williams.

Honest Trailer Avengers Age Of Ultron

Fans of Honest Trailers can rest easy, the day we’ve waited for is here. It’s Avengers: Age of Ultron Day!!! The dudes at Screen Junkies managed to do something even AAOU could not do… meet our overly high expectations! Narrator Jon Bailey once again sees into my soul and recites nearly everything I’ve said, complained, and whined about since Marvel started its “Cinematic Universe” back in 2008 with the original Ironman.

Watch the Honest Trailer below.
