Nickelodeon has released the first trailer for Legends of the Hidden Temple: The Movie. The movie is based on their Indiana Jones inspired ’90s game show Legends of the Hidden, in which teams competed against each other in various events for a chance to try to retrieve a historical artifact from the mysterious temple. | SDCC 2016: Kurt Russell Confirmed As Star-Lord’s Father In ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’
For a very long time, the casting of Kurt Russell in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has led many to believe that he would be playing Peter Quill/Star-Lord’s father. Director James Gunn has been quick to shoot down the notion that it was J’Son. Though some just thought he was playing coy. But that doesn’t appear to be the case, as Russell has been confirmed to be playing Ego, who reveals himself to Peter as his father. | SDCC 2016: ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Panel; Vulture Confirmed
Spider-Man: Homecoming is easily one of the most anticipated MCU films to come next year. While yet another reboot based on the Webslinger could be a cause for concern, his introduction into the MCU via Captain America: Civil War cast the doubts that many of us had aside. Now as we look to the future, star Tom Holland will be our one and true Spider-Man. Right in the middle of the MCU panel, Holland and director Jon Watts arrived to somewhat of a surprised crowd. Only because it wasn’t really clear if Marvel could show any footage from the film considering it still belongs to Sony. But now it’s clear. And just to make themselves feel right at home they previewed a tiny clip of what they have been shooting. Check out a brief description below. Oh, and yes. | SDCC 2016: ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Ride To Replace Tower Of Terror At Disney
One of the best known Disney rides is about to be replaced in one location. It was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 that a new Guardians of the Galaxy ride called Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! will be setting up shop in the structure that The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is currently located in at the Disney California Adventure park. To go along with the announcement a video was also released that shares details about the new ride, which is coming in 2017, and some concept art. | SDCC 2016: Brie Larson Confirmed As ‘Captain Marvel’
Early last month it was reported that Brie Larson, who won an Academy Award for her performance in Room, had entered into negotiations to star in the superhero flick Captain Marvel. During their San Diego Comic-Con 2016 showcase, Marvel made things official by confirming Larson for the role. They also revealed a new logo for the movie. You can check that out below if you wish.
