For those of you who have yet to hear, a brand new South Park video game is currently being developed titled South Park: The Game.

Most people will scoff at such news, knowing full well that almost all games based on movies or TV shows or animated series are usually just made to make money off of the property, and are all but guaranteed to suck horribly. But this game…this game is different. Or so it feels.

The Book of Mormon, the comedic Broadway musical created by South Park masterminds (and BASEketball stars) Trey Parker and Matt Stone along with Robert Lopez, has become the toast of the Great White Way since opening on March 24.

Recently the critically-acclaimed show, which has won nine Tony awards and five Drama Desk awards, finally recouped its production costs and is now turning a profit for its investors.

The t-shirt deal of the day over at RIPT Apparel today is a mash-up of South Park and Portal called “Stinking with Portals” by artist Chuffy.

The shirt went on sale at RIPT today, Monday, October 3, 2011, at midnight CST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site anymore.

Season 15 of South Park will debut on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, with an episode title “HUMANCENTiPAD.”

Can you guess what it’s about?

Yeah, just the thought of how the South Park creators are going to mash-up the Apple iPad device and the gross horror film The Human Centipede makes me want to hurl. Then I watched the preview of the episode. Ugh… but, it’s sure to be hilarious, even if it is disgusting.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone have always been known for their fearlessness when it comes to saying whatever they want to say, whether in their movies like Team America: World Police, or whether it’s on their highly-popular hit Comedy Central show, South Park. But as you may have heard, some heavy threats have lead to a big uproar and one of the few times we’ve seen the show be censored more so than it needed to be.

The animated show has been going strong for over a decade now, currently in their 14th season on the air. Every single season they have made an effort to push the envelope, to try and take just one more step while already under so much scrutiny from censors and angry parents everywhere. And with this, every single season has seen countless jaw-dropping moments where you just can’t help but wonder “how DID they get away with that!?” right before running into yet another shocker.

South Park is currently in the midst of closing out the first half of their 14th season, and their plan was to do it with one of their epic multi-episode story arcs. But it is here where the show appears to have gone too far in the eyes of some.
