| Rumor: ‘Star Wars’ Movie From ‘Game Of Thrones’ Creators May Be Based On ‘The Old Republic’
With a franchise as big and expansive as Star Wars, there are a number of things filmmakers could adapt that are outside of the Skywalker saga. And with the Skywalker saga coming to a close later this year in Episode IX, fans can look forward to other and possibly more exciting stories that go far beyond the conflicts between the Jedi and the Sith. But there is also a lot of history to look back on, and that could be the basis of the film series from Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. According to new rumors, their trilogy could be based on The Old Republic, the popular MMORPG game which takes place some 4,000 years before the Galactic Empire was established. | Topher Grace Releases A Stunning ‘Star Wars’ Fan Trailer Celebrating All Ten Films
A long time ago, in a theater not so far away from Los Angeles, Topher Grace invited a handful of film geeks to take a look at his 85-minute re-cut of the Star Wars prequel trilogy. The film basically cut out most of the unnecessary fluff, which meant they saw very little from The Phantom Menace, and other useless exposition from The Clone Wars and Revenge of the Sith. While that re-cut would never see the light of day, many who did see it praised Grace’s skills as an editor for condensing an entire trilogy into one easier sitting. But he was not done with Star Wars, not by a long shot. Grace, who can be seen in BlacKkKlansman, has released a five-minute fan trailer which celebrates the film series. Teaming up with Jeff Yorkes, the two put together a piece that encapsulates everything that we have seen from the Star Wars cinematic universe. Check out the video below.

| Rumor: Obi-Wan Kenobi ‘Star Wars’ Spinoff Series In Development For Disney+
Disney will have no trouble finding any TV series for their new streaming service Disney+. Along with Disney, Pixar, and Marvel titles, they also have access to Star Wars, which gives more people a reason to add yet another subscription to their bills. And with film production simmering down, there is the possibility that some titles that were being groomed for a theatrical release could be remodeled for a TV format. Case in point, Obi-Wan Kenobi. A film centered around the character had been in development, and was rumored to be a part of the spinoffs that Disney and Lucasfilm would have released. However, in the wake of Solo: A Star Wars Story‘s under performance at the box office, it looks like the Jedi knight will find a new home. More on the report below.

Release date: January 8, 2019 Do you remember the pirate Hondo Ohnaka from either the Star Wars: Clone Wars or Star Wars: Rebels animated series? You don’t? That’s a little shocking. Sure, this Weequay was a background character, but he managed to insinuate himself into some pretty unforgettable sequences, both for better and for worse. I was never much of a fan myself. So imagine my dismay when I tuned into Star Wars: Pirate’s Price only to discover he was the front-and-center character driving the plot? Yeah, I wasn’t happy. But then I started listening and, I’m going to be honest with you, hearing Jim Cummings bring Hondo to life through a mostly first-person accounting of his multiple times aboard the Millennium Falcon made me come around a bit. I actually kinda like the guy now.
