Air date: Tuesday, February 8th, 2017, 9:00pm ET Warning! Spoilers below for tonight’s episode of This Is Us. Last time on This Is Us, we got a montage of the “big three” combo birthday parties, until the time kids asked for separate parties, and their loving (and crazy) parents decided to oblige. Randall, who was not upset, and Kate, who was upset, did not get exactly what their parents had hoped. The motive for the parties was Kevin getting close to Kate’s best friend Sophie. He ended up marrying and losing her. Toby helped Kevin (Chris Sullivan, Justin Hartley) come to the unexpected realization that Sophie (Alexandra Breckenridge) was his true love. He went and declared. William (Ron Cephas Jones) was feeling great having quit chemo, and hijacked Randall (who was losing cred at work) to go shopping and teach him how to drive. The end of the episode gave us a glimpse of Jack’s funeral (Noooo!!!!), with Rebecca and his teenage kids mourning him. Spoilers below.

Air date: Tuesday, January 10th, 2017, 9:00pm ET Last time on This Is Us, the mantra was… “Nothing bad ever happens on Christmas Eve.” It was Christmas time for everyone, and in the past, Kate had to get her appendix taken out on Christmas Eve, while Dr. K may be dying. In the present, Randall (Sterling K. Brown) thought his family night would be a wash as everyone seemed to cancel. He went to his office party and literally talked a friend off a ledge. Then all of his family showed up and it was as lovely as you could expect. Even William’s (Ron Cephas Jones) special friend came – Randall’s kid outed him. Kevin (Justin Hartley) went to Sloane’s (Milana Vayntrub) for Chanukah and it was adorable. Kate (Chrissy Metz) was miserable because she had broken up with Toby (Chris Sullivan), who swooped in and declared he could not live without her in front of his family… then crashed into the table later on with what looked like a heart attack. Okay, that part was not so lovely. It left us hanging as to whether Kate would lose her happiness. Spoilers below.
