Jordan Peele redefines the genre in bold new ways by weaving in truth and honesty with horror. But horror has acted as a reflection on the society we live in now by terrifying us with the sort of imagery that very few would like to admit is true. With Us we get to see the monsters within us, or at least, the monsters that are capable of living within us.
And now, with the release of the Blu-ray, we get to see how Peele crafted this movie with precision and great detail. Check out our review, plus a look at some of the bonus features that take a deeper look at the production of the film, below.

‘Us’ Blu-ray Arrives To Haunt Your Lovely Home This June

One of my favorite horror films to come out this year will finally be available for you to own this summer. Jordan Peele‘s Get Out follow-up Us was a huge box office success grossing over $170 million since it first opened back in March.
Now, Universal is ready to give us a reason to be afraid to go into a House of Mirrors or at least question everything we know about ourselves when they release the film on digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD. Check out the full list of special features below.

The phrase “we are our own worst enemy” is a theme that plays a huge part in Jordan Peele‘s Us. The filmmaker’s sophomore effort walks that fine line between horror and social satire. It examines the human condition and uses scares as a vehicle to take a look at the monsters that lurk beneath our skin and what would happen if it were ever to crawl out of it. The end result is another genre-bending film with something to say. While allegories and metaphors have been a part of the fabric of horror films, Peele knows how to deliver that message with terrifying precision. Check out my full review of Us here below.

‘Us’ Super Bowl Spot: Jordan Peele’s Latest Terror Has Terrifying Coincidences

There’s no doubt that Jordan Peele‘s Us, his follow up to Get Out, is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. And judging by the reactions and eagerness to see it as soon as possible, the Us makes its debut at SXSW later this year, we can expect to see the same visceral terror with a tinge of Twilight Zone. Even the film itself was inspired by that show. Now with the film’s theatrical release just a little over a month away from release, we are getting a new look at it with a brand new TV spot.
Initially set up to be unveiled during the Super Bowl, Peele posted the spot on a SubReddit, much to the delight of everyone. Check it out here below.

Black Panther is the 18th Marvel Studios film to be released. Now just a few months after its initial release, it is coming home on Blu-ray and digital.
Director Ryan Coogler presents audiences with a new kind of superhero film. By weaving in social issues – like culture, identity, and representation – that affect us today, he turns what would have been an ordinary comic book movie into an extraordinary crowning achievement. It’s certainly not a risky film, but one that needed to be made. For there is a superhero in everyone, and it’s high time that we get to see more representation on the big screen. Check out my review of Black Panther on 4K below.

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Interview: Avengers, Guardians, and One Unimpressed Thanos
|
 |

Avengers: Infinity War is a culmination of 10 years of Marvel Studios films. In the past 18 films that they have released, we’ve seen heroes defend the Earth and the Galaxy from demi-gods, highly intelligent robots, and themselves. Now it all culminates in this one massive event that brings the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy together to defend it against the Mad Titan, himself, Thanos.
We were invited to sit down with our fellow journalists to talk to the cast, directors Anthony and Joe Russo, and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige about the film. But the thing is, no one had actually seen the film, at least as of this post. So there were really no questions the press could work off of other than the trailers and what has already been reported on.
But one thing we know is going to happen is that Thanos is coming, and it’s going to take one giant superheroic collective effort to stop him. So, what can we expect to see from the two groups who will have to stop Thanos from wiping out half of humanity? Who will live? Who will die? Does Thanos actually consider the Avengers and Guardians an actual threat? Check out what they had to say here below.
