Telltale Games' Batman

Telltale Games has released the first images from Batman, their episodic point-and-click take on the Dark Knight.

They’ve also released more information on the game, including who will be voicing the characters. The cast is led by none other than Troy Baker, best known for voicing Joel in The Last of Us and Booker in BioShock Infinite, who takes on the role of Bruce Wayne. Baker is no stranger to the franchise having taken on the difficult task of voicing Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, which had previously been handled by fan-favorite Mark Hamill, voicing Two-Face in Batman: Arkham Knight, and more. It’s not the first time he’s played this character either; he also voiced Batman in various LEGO animated and video game titles.

You can see the first images from the game and read more about the game below.

Telltale Games' Batman

Telltale Games has mastered the art of making episodic point-and-click games set within the worlds of existing properties. From movies like Back to the Future and Jurassic Park, to comics like The Walking Dead and Fables, to TV shows like Game of Thrones, and even other game franchises like Borderlands and Minecraft—they craft games set in many different worlds, and they do it very well.

Next up for Telltale is to branch into the realms of superheroes. It’s already been announced that they’re making a game series set in the Marvel universe, but they aren’t taking sides with it. At The Game Awards 2015 it was revealed, along with the first trailer for Walking Dead miniseries Michonne, that they will also be making a game set in DC Comics’ Batman universe. You can check out the announcement trailer for the currently untitled game below.
